I say demote'em both. Same-side pkilling should earn you a siteban, as it has done before, and breaking the rule of character seperation should earn you a demote for both characters/all characters involved.

While I would ordinarily agree with grang on this one that out of character
revenge is illegal and in bad taste, the circumstances here shouldn't prevent
Grishnak from hunting down Grang.

Grangs actions are highly public and well-documented. He has developed many
enemies among the orcs and other minions of Sauron. I believe that the
orcs should rise up to punish the scum. Grishnahk should not be punished
for joining with others to kill Grang. But his motive must not be revenge
but rather to refocus our attention to the true foe, the whitepukes.

Orcs, being a stronger society, do not need shitty real death rules to
prevent same-side pk. We prevent it by hunting down the backbiting scum until
he is nothing but a snaga.

Personally I regret that MUME management is too liberal to simply bansite or demote Grang for ruining the atmosphere of the game (and for abusing very many if not bugs, then deficiencies in MUME code - I could list them here, but I bet anyone can do it no worse than I can).

Well, Enforcer im not like that, I have learned from a really cool player on MUME who told me equipment isnt everything. And until recently, I have really been following his saying. But as for Grang, other muds wouldnt tolerate this one bit, I mean consecutively breaking the rules. I would like to see some action taken to permantly stop his bothering people on MUME. When he summons newbies, it gets annoying, when he same-side pkes it gets annoying. So if you are really annoyed about him, ask some Vala to permantly bansite him. And scramble his account and character passwords.
