stormblast only kills with traps, tho its solo quake ones, and flame when other people who dont use quake traps with groups instead... tsk tsk
Glader2000-09-09 19:21:07
A good laugh, and a good work.
Stormblast2000-09-09 19:24:45
I'll just say this: I am not even gonna bother to waste mana on some warrior standing 1 zone from 100% safety. Why bother? And I am not gonna waste mana on some1 perfectly clueful to step out of spells and staying out of all closed areas. Why bother? You yourself end up fine/warm, another puke comes, you make
him flee and end up hurt/icy and then some breelegend comes to claim a "solo" kill. I fought Morthe 1:1, he fled. Fought Featur 1:1, he fled (till my shield dropped and I was out of mana). Shrug. I have never joined the Rogonjugend that flames traps. Every trick in the game is ok, as long as it doesn't cross (my) line of having fun/destroying the game. Say what you want, it took some cunning to spring this one, and they didn't even try to open once! If some1 thinks it is fun to follow a hitter and spam spells, it is just as well, he'll just have to put up with some flaming.
Stormblast2000-09-09 19:29:46
Trapping is largely misunderstood. In my book 'trapping' means 'putting some1 in an unexpected and unfavourable situation', and I rarely overdo it. Sometimes letting some slithering snakes buff a warrior is enough to turn the tables. Quoting a recently-retired-warrior: "Then they removed his ability to see his wps, and he thought, *duh* why play NOW then?" Well my first thought would be "try to play it like you haven't played before, pushing the odds and taking fun risks". His answer would prolly be: "But then I'd die too often". Well, shrug.
Alcion2000-09-09 19:48:56
Well done! I'm having a good laugh right now. :)
Glendale2000-09-09 19:50:56
Trapping in and of is itself is not such a bad thing unless it is abused: LIek 10 darkies v. 3 Whities after they had done GC (note a little bitterness on my part). Enlighten me then, how can a ppl on 250ms link kill a ppl on a 30ms link in the open? its exceptionally difficult therefore you trap them so they can't run away. It is one of the best ways for poorly linked ppls or weaker races (BN'S) to kill. So long as its not overkill trapping rocks.
Lalin2000-09-09 20:13:36
hmm, stormy got point like usually-also when yer evil puke u can't visit gh/rdell, good mobs hit, no anti-evil eq and focus:)
grunge2000-09-10 01:44:46
pardon my ignorance, but what the hell is that guy dispeling hisself for? bad align?

2.) stormblast, you are a whiner...it is ok for you to turn the odds in your favor
but if someone comes in the backdoor and picks it shut and smites your ass to oblivion,
then his cunning is unfair and "ruins" your good time....rofl, you have such double standards
I think you should go back to your idol worshipping, maybe you can find something that appeases your ignorance.
Stormblast2000-09-10 01:53:36
Well, you got it wrong as always, Grunge. The case you are referring to was
where you knew exactly what was going on and chose to 1. take an easy kill
2. ruin the equal fight that was fun for both sides. That is fair and all but
don't expect me to respect it. Double standards? Nah, I don't think my personal
opinion should be anywhere close to something "standard", but I intend to stay
true to it. And yes, dispel evilling hurts evil casters. And yes, I probably am
a whiner (like everyone else with an opinion and big mouth).
Ginlon2000-09-10 07:33:03
I whine more and god a bigger mouht than Stormblast!
So there!
*strut*
Galdor2000-09-10 09:22:09
Yea, you allways fucking whine, even when you get soloed. Practice what you preach!
Stormblast2000-09-10 11:12:09
No I fucking don't, it's just that i die 10x more often than you guys think.
Galdor2000-09-10 13:53:57
Im speaking out of personal experience.
Stormblast2000-09-10 15:25:25
Ooh the one way back when I couldn't even flee + spam dirs or spamflee from u
and some other in tbad? Yeah I am still pissed about that. Nice link.
morthe2000-09-10 18:17:50
hehe yes, i was supriced too, problem is that Featur get us inside trap.
And true is that when we fight solo Tharbad you run away Stormblast (i have no track). But if u think that if someone isnt chazin you that means that he fleein you are wrong. Now i have better aligment and some higier level so be carefull in future (i get track soon too) casue i hand you tall ass on the tree
Stormblast2000-09-11 00:10:19
Nah Morthe I am talking about both healthy/full mana and 1:1. You fled, til the 2 of you managed to hit me low on hps (which wasn't too hard with my rapier + plain clothes kit). Anyway, was a sucky kill by me and careless entering from your part. But that dispel was fun :). I hope it is coded so that you cannot kill yourself with it, would be quite handy in a hopeless mobdeathrisking situation.
rEEF2000-09-11 04:17:51
Heh what the hell does "I hand you tall ass on the tree" mean?!

Sounds kinky...
Pampalini2000-09-11 23:32:26
Best is puke complaining about overpowered BN's quake trap *spit*
Eothen2000-09-11 23:47:44
I love it when bns try to quake trap me. ;)
