damn, never nice when one of the spectre go down, even worse when they do it to some silly mobs! Luckily u seen puke so no mobrip eh? Demote the rangers, they'r TOO powerful!!!

i think it sucks, i didn't have a chance of surviving when they are closing exits, i didn't know they closed exits they didn't need to open and not that they spamclose =(

Hrm, just a little tidbit on how nasty rangers have become. Along with how powerful they already were (up till a few weeks ago since i not know when this change occurred), they now track insanely far or use their noses a whole lot better. I got hit by them at old east road by a rock, spammed up to old fornost and was waiting for some pukes to enter it (Resting in roofless house) and to my surprise 2 hardened rangers showed up. I get hit, run to scarred seeing none along the way, and then two show up there...

Have they somehow been coded using the Tricawarrior(tm) set??

And oh... anyone notice the rangers were on the other side of the south obstruction? I thought they went in only as far as into Morthan's room...
Since they did not pass scaramanga while he was outside, it leads me to believe they went through morthan without paying taxes or went around via the bush/thornybush... which is still pretty dummbbb

rangers now track far down tharbad road.
they now pursue up to 2 rooms e of neni bridge, but no further than that.
And they linger at often used junctions...i.e. 4e junctino bree (way to cut north to ferny)
4s of branches (w priest), backyard, (way to fornost)...
there are of course ways to bypass them......in fact the first ways i used to use...but
they track insanely far and are a risk of mobdeath everytime.
Can anyone tell me if they have canoes and track over water? i have been wondering how safe it would be to dismount and cross a few rivers..

About rangers and tracking: I find it useful to pick them in traps. (there are some pickable doors here and there, and if you pick decently fast, you can lock some of them up). About water: AFAIK rangers to track, but they kinda "find the path" and come to you the shortest possible way. Would be cool, if they changed that. Make rangers track, and they woulndt be THAT crazy.

Well yesterday I went after a hobbit, who was killing shadow in that 4 room place so fnost (near that hermit, the place you go down, and then there is a north-south corridor). Well I never got out of there, cause 6 rangers just whacked me. I did what I could, but they instahit, and I never had the luck to flee up. So rangers are kinda nuisance.
