The log ends just like you think it would.  i recite some scrolls,
spam to backdoor, blocked as well, and die like shit.  Is there
some sport I am missing in trapping 4 vs solo?  just troll(s) maybe
some fun.. ologs even.  but blocker and 3 smiters in closable luring
solo.  hrm. perhaps it is time to follow the trend and either
trap like a Mother Fucker or go outside and get some exercise, leaving
MUME far behind like one of Grunge's bad wet dreams...

that he was suntrapped in e priest followed. You dont think he would at
least narrate you being there (was watching from belltower). He did, and 3
darkies showed up to handle you. Neither did the lowbie get wps/xp/or trophy
from you as he wasnt grouped. Nor did he get thanks for the narrate *whine*

And Im to believe that 3 darkies came during day (2 ologs) for trap?
Or did they portal in? If so, it would just seem even more sad that

why are traps lame? i thinnk every trap is nice, 'cos it shows the one being trapped is too stupid, too unfamiliar with the terrain or just too overconfident (like in this case).

Priest is one of the most common trapping places. Though overkilling is boring, it seems to be more and more common. And this specific situation it was only 4, and one of them was lev 5 troll. Last time I got overkilled with my BN it was 7 pukes and 1 meta.

Just thing i was thinking about earlier... when blocking door, u continue spel even while door opens halfway
Therefore it is ( as far as i know) the ONLY delayed action that does not stop
when the endstate cant exist (something like that they called it... when someone
leaves room/fights backstab stops, picking is stopped by open etc...).

When ppl finish bitching about overpowered thieves etc... tone down mages once a decade orso?

Also as far as the door being open/closed for blocked door ... one way to imagine
the spell is that it slams the door closed and blocks it from there.

I agree mume is a difficult place to go solo, and you always have to watch your
back. Well a fine lesson learned then.

Okay, lets set up what happened here. Me and Venal looking for pukes
all night long and unfortunately do not find any...course daylight comes
and they come out. We go warrens and as Moonglum if he seen any...he
says no...Fubar...lvl 5 Troll is trapped inside e priest, but is watching
outside and narrates that man is outside and even scouted. Therefore,
instead of letting our poor fellow troll die, we come to his aid. Not our
fault he actually came in and allowed us to port...course we going to
block...since we cant go out in day, only makes sense.

Rule #1..never go in priest solo less u have bashed one of the exits
since as others have stated before..priest is common trap place.

If you enter priest, expect people to come kill you.
And if that requires blocking exits so you can't easily
escape, expect that too.

Hi there Tuorin ... someone always gets 'overkilled'. If you suspected that a trap was brewing ... a simple bash on the irondoor would have saved your life. Also, I never remember the name of that damn hidden exit down that is 3E from the front irondoor (don't play much). I had to run thru the priest's room and down under his lair to get in position to block the back irondoor exit. This should have given you plenty of time to get out. Oh, and my block on the back irondoor finally went thru AFTER you died in that very room. *blush* Next time try 'open irondoor' maybe.

Hang in there ... it's only a game.

It's a fact of life unless you have group.

Its always dangerous to enter priest if you dont have on of:
1. twisted rock fragments
2. teleport or word of recall
3. group ready to portal on you
4. doors broken/bashed (tho bashed door can regen pretty quick so carefully with that)
5. someone with break or transfer nearby

Man.. gone a few days and look at the asshole remarks. First off,
I never conned the troll. no idea was level 5. Second, well.. who the
fuck cares. Game. Game. Game. Sure, mad at self.. but i do try
to fight fairly as can be expected and am ignorant if expect same
from u fucknuts. See you all in the war laters. What would be nice
is a little one v one fight for bit without someone taking the advantage
by hugely outnumbering and trapping the other. what the fuck anyway.
