Close but no cigar. Guess i be more carefull swimming now.
/* Evan the lowbie Explorer
/* Went whirlpool to check on any loot worth selling.
/* Thought i was better swimmer than i where, almost fatal.

The water that carries you rushes you faster!
You are shot into the chasm and plummet downwards, finally plunging into a body of water.
You
are dragged into a small underwater stream.

* W S C HP:Hurt Mana:Icy>
You are now under water, slowly using up your oxygen.

84/159 hit, 10/111 mana, and 52/113 moves.

/* 50+ moves .) should be plenty !

* W S C HP:Hurt Mana:Icy>Underwater Tunnel

Your limbs begin to feel the effect of the swimming.
You'd like to draw a fresh breath, but you feel able to stay here a bit longer.

/*Snicker*

* W S C HP:Hurt Mana:Icy Move:Tired>Underwater Torrent
Exits: North East West.

* W S C HP:Hurt Mana:Icy Move:Tired>
Alas, you cannot go that way...

Exits: West Up.

* W S C HP:Hurt Mana:Icy Move:Slow>
You fail swimming, and feel weaker.
You feel VERY tired.
You'd like to draw a fresh breath, but you feel able to stay here a bit longer.
You swim and successfully stay on the water.
* W S C HP:Hurt Mana:Icy Move:Exhausted>up
You are too exhausted.
/*********** SHIT ********* :)

* W S C HP:Hurt Mana:Icy Move:Fainting>up
Air-filled Niche
Exits: Down.
You happily inhale the lovely oxygen in the air.

* W S C HP:Hurt Mana:Cold Move:Exhausted>re
You sit down and rest your tired bones.
/* iddle time !!

Wow,.. coolest log so far ! Want me to post the log where i get a freeze doing ironchain and drown ?
Axel2000-09-12 13:55:49
guess everyone who goes whirlpool did experience that, so everyone supposed
to post it?
Evan2000-09-12 13:58:30
Well i been whirlpool couple hundred times and never experienced that
anyway i was bored of those overkiller logs so posted this.
Unknown2000-09-12 14:01:48
Actually, yes, I'd like to see that Zorgmol. I have no clue how to do that. And while you're at it, where's this whirlpool and what the hell loads there?
Uldrak2000-09-12 14:07:57
dont read the overkill logs then evan
Axel2000-09-12 14:13:25
whirlpool is moria and check out yourself to see what loads there
Unknown2000-09-12 14:16:03
That's not nice, Axel. If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all ;-)
Unknown2000-09-12 14:21:12
And while you're at it, what does an old length of chain do?
Zorgmol2000-09-12 14:36:08
Ok, since i am such a nice little orc i will give you a hint of where you can
reveal necklace or or iron chain.
Try looking in the rivers s sw of tharbad. In some underwater rooms, it loads hidden. Thats about all i will say not to ruin your mapping.
And the name of the room you ask ? You will probably understand it when you swim into that room. And will you die trying to find it ? Yes, most likely you will die the first couple of times :) But dont worry, i will be there to loot your stuff if you tell me before going...*cackle*
Unknown2000-09-12 15:52:07
OK...before I go do this, what does a necklace and an old length of chain do?
chain and neckl2000-09-12 16:58:05
I hide in the greyflood s of tharbad.
Find the most south room, then spam all west.
Then 1 room e, is a room called bushy something or other. Walk 1 north.
Then swim on, sneak off, shroud preferable, 1 north down east (ope plank)
e (reveal necklace), if not there, d (reveal necklace), if not there, up s reveal necklace.
For chain, go from room bushy something, north d e (ope plank) e d (ope plank) s u u rest moves.
Full moves go 2d ope boards, s reveal chain.

guess who? snicker.
Unknown2000-09-12 18:29:12
Nice instructions :-) But what do these two things do?
Nightchill2000-09-12 20:36:20
Necklace seems pretty useless. Something to do with charm. No idea
what chain does.
Rauko2000-09-12 20:49:06
chain stops fear
Axel2000-09-12 23:07:55
Rauko, is that an undocumented feature of chain? :>
Eothen2000-09-13 00:10:46
Necklace is good align only, chain is evil align only.
Both of them are eff vs mental, meaning they help you save blind, sleep, fear, charm, and a few other mental spells in the game I am forgetting right now. Quite a nice thing to have, just don't drown trying to get it...
Juston2000-09-13 04:34:16
and them good eatin's too
-> Nightchill2000-09-13 12:28:57
Wow. Solid advice. 'Pretty useless' indeed... *rofl*. Read Eothen's comment and learn.
Gray2000-09-13 19:13:53
*clap* Eothen and guy who gave directions :) happy to see that i'm not one
why share information with everyone, not just with his labbies :)))
