Not that i feel we need to explain as we had no idea he was coming but alas i will: We were smobbing (Lord, Tom/Goldberry, Willow, SK, MA, Chief) when we decided that clearing Tharbad was wicked xp! So after one repop and all guards/guild masters/shopkeepers dead we decided to wander into Tharbad to kill the women and children. We went stables when we heard of Isolde, Hobbit, and some other *Named Man*. What were we gonna do? Say hey, Malak, Melko, Iyachtu, and Nushenak you have to leave, we want to trap them in the most fairest way? We were all grouped before so we remained grouped. Unluckily for Agerno he entered and we reacted quick enough to kill him. (We were not expecting an elf as i spammed 'hit *man*' in a slowspam about 8 times before i could engage him =p). That totally sucked for Agerno and was not planned but hey, i now have another set of elf ears on my necklace. And it IS war right?

Just doing supermobs so thats why u hugegrouping? Maybe true for some, but runkers like Tairach and Smrtihlav never leave the hugegroups. Maybe if they could use their actions again, they could go back to normal pk. I wonder which is worse, the spamactionwhores or the hugegroupwhores. Its just too bad that some people can't play the game in a more fair manner and have to fuck it up for everyone else (except their followers that spamkill all day of course). Hrmm guards in tbad open doors and close doors when they are chasing orcs around town, but I'm sure you already knew that Darkwimp. Why would the closeable room help? You block it every time a guard comes in and wack one at a time over a period of 2 mume years? Would make more sense to me to just go around and block in chief, any other tuff mobs u dont want running out while u wack the other shit. Then again I think Achilles may have pegged the reason for the stables after all.

Normally from 2AM-8PM Eas. Std Time Mume is known as Trapmud. During this time, there will *always* be a group of CZs grouped with some redshirts trapping. The traps depend on which side they are playing, but are pretty freaking obvious and consistant. No point in yelling at them, or cursing their names, as they are not going to change any. You can only pray for those fleeting moments when they finally get bored and log off to have any fun without wondering where the next overkill is going to come from.

My hugegroups were me, Steele, and Just, with sometimes Dryin. Unless the usual assortment of .se labs were at Bree, when I'd summon every Tom, Dick, and Breelegend to chase them away. Maybe you forget the days when Entombed and his 7 buddies all stood at hours for a time at OER/Green, and I was the one who usually rallied the defenses against them. Nowadays 3-4 is nothing. I was also a no1 warlord with this char back then, so you could expect the usual whining from people.

dresden is a newbie Achilles, he hasn't earned the right to call you a hugegrouper (tm) from days past.

Trapmud hours, then i would block tree and slaythen entire bunch....problem is labs/narrate/icq and pukes are idiots in general.

We cleared Tbad mobs and tried trap in stable yes, Isolde was around and we thought she might flee in or something. :-)

But it was not without risk, we knew Isolde was around for a while so she could check our tracks and then get group bigger than ours and storm us. Luckily there is often not enough clueful pukes playing and even the clueful are usually too wimpy to charge us.

About the Old Forest trapping, we are of course always risking being outnumbered there. We are just counting with the factors like what puke legends were seen lately. If there are no brave leaders (like Forin or Nain) or less than 15 bree legends, its really low chance they will charge/try trap us there.

Maybe sometime Rogon will take his group and dozen of Bree legends, and will go sit there for some hours rl to get chance to kill us. You never know. :-)

And yes, I am afraid of this icq thingie as well. I believe many players are cheating that way. Too bad nothing can be done about it, or can?

The reason noone ever traps the czechs is because no other than czechs and their buddies is prepared to spend 8 hours in a row trapping.

That and that we all know the second a fight looks close the czs will whip out 50 twisted rocks, break any closed doors, and leave their redshirts to die while they spamflee away and use all the blues they spend 5 hours a day getting. Tairach is full of crap, they are rarely ever in any danger because of the amount of rl time no other sane human would use to prepare for their traps.

Achilles, you are wrong as always. Last trap when planning took more than 5 rl mins I was in was
bushwall trap organized by p(Rogon). Our "cz" traps are usually spontaneous and very fast ones.
It's lame to sit in trap for 30 rl mins, those are traps that would ruin the game, especially when
there is no posibility for the victim to get away (noflee rooms, nobreak doors with 1 way exits, etc).

The guy that died in this trap can't say he didnt get chance.
1. There were no guards in city, so he could figure out something is wrong.
2. He could have narrated "any darkies in tbad?". Isolde would sure tell him.
3. He could have tracked before stables or scout it fast. We really didnt close fast. (since i was hitting) :P
4. If he spent some time for doing Unqalome, he would simply use rock and get away.
5. If he spent some time for doing MA, he would simply use powder to break blocker's
concentration and get more time for flee attempts.

He just died because of the lack of perception and prudence.

And the second dead 1s of shady was hardly a linkless kill, since he used some kind of social during the action.

I don't believe any of that nonsense Tairach. For one thing, you operate as a group. That means, if you do Unqualome, it really doesn't matter who gets the rock, as one of you can use it since you are always together. Most groups are made of of several nonlabbies who need to split the loot evenly, and Unqualome is quite boring to do that many times to get a chance at getting a rock that *might* work. And how really is trapping all day at multiple locations any better than just trapping at one?

You whine about traps... They implement twisted rocks, perfect thing to be safe from traps and yet all you do is whine about twisted rocks again.

Btw, if you don't like "cz" style of playing, you could maybe explain us the style you like. Is it walking in Norsu-gang group using poisons and spamming hit anything that is weaker than your group?

And nobody needs to do Unqalome, there are players who will trade rock for something usable (like heal scroll) anytime they can (i.e. me).
