instantly getting hold of them silly rocks and break
rootdoor instead of FIGHTING! And don't give me that bullshit
about... we low mana, was hurting etc. You slaughtered
them 3 instantly, some bolts and a fireball was wasted.
You should have stayed PUT and maybe narrated for 1-2 more
to come or just FIGHT and DIE... feel ashamed silly snagas.

Normally I sit here and bitch about Luke's traps, but this one was a pretty good location. But its sorta funny that you still outnumber em 7 to 6 in warrens with door blocked, and everyone starts tossing rocks like its a contest to see who can break the door first. Twisted rocks should either be removed from the game, or the ability to stack multiple blocks on a door should come back. Its stupid that rocks never fail to break blocks and doors, and some ppl have pouches full of them. Perhaps they should just make them weigh like 70 lbs each or something.

Baazunga, what would be against Orcs nature. There gather together
and split appart fast, only a few best leaders of their race can keep them
together, especialy in the case of not outnumbered. Especially if they already
got _their loot_. Orcs almost never care about the war. IN, kill, loot, exp, out.

Also, i have never had a twisted rock, because they aren't exactly that common. Two rocks load on/inside (whatever) Unqalome, which isn't one of the easier smobs out there. Christ; all you people bitch about are traps nowawdays yet you also bitch about twisted rocks. Twisted rock = most likely an escape from a trap. And the way I understand it, one rock takes off the block, the other breaks the door. If this is the case, then one needs to have two twisted rocks to escape.

This is just plain silly. The rocks i mean. Sure you should have em in game, but carrying tons of them around is silly. Each rock should weigh about as much as a tower shield and it would be ok, as you wouldn't be able to carry many of them around, and you'd also have to watch your moves a bit more...

I was saying that stuff about the trophy to the person who is obviously afraid to show his name while commenting to me. The reason why twisted rocks suck is because the average joes getting trapped DO NOT HAVE THEM, while the ones trapping HAVE A SHITLOAD OF THEM. Thus the trappers can sit there nice and safe, ready to start chucking rocks around in case a large group storms their trap, as you can see in the log shown here. The trappers already have door and rock aliases/actions ready to roll in case of a backtrap. How long did it take for rocks to start getting thrown around in this log when the pukes came in - less than a second. If they had to bash or break their way out, they would be fucked. Break door takes mana and time and is saved easily, bash takes moves and time and is saved more easily. Twisted rocks are instant and hardly (if ever) get saved against. Twisted rocks are not serving the purpose of helping ppl to avoid traps, they are serving the purpose of making the trappers invincible. If you don't notice this, it is probably because u are one of the ppl doing the trapping rather than getting trapped.

Well, like i said, i have never had one and rarely group with people that do, but i still see your point. In fact i have been caught in the situation where i have had to bash my way out of a trap where we blocked ourselves in, and its not fun =p
I still think its block that needs to be toned down abit though, more than the rocks.

There isnt really any way to make the rocks good for getting out of a trap, without also helping the trappers to trap safer... what could be done is some weird mudlles (but not very logical) for example the rock could only break an exit blocked or locked by a player of the other side....

Get real, Grimble. It is killing somebody by spamming door closed and then blocking it is bad, not the fact that somebody implemented a way to avoid it. Yes, the cure may be misused and thus not produce as much effect as we'd all like, but it is a cure to the disease, not the disease; it gives both the trapper and the trapped a chance, although of course since the trapper is more likely to be prepared, his chances of being able to use it are greater.

If tomorrow somebody implements an antidote item that works and of course the poisoners themselves start to use it more than the others thus making it safer to poison themselves, would you say that the antidote needs to be removed from the game? Or would you admit that this, though faulty and imperfect, is a cure and it is always better to have some kind of a cure, giving perhaps a smaller chance to the hunted than to the hunter, but still giving him a chance?

Well when the cure to the problem makes the problem worse, then its not much of a help is it? The fact that the trappers can get out of their own trap no matter what just makes them trap more and more. If they actually had a chance at getting killed in their own traps, I'm sure we would see a dramatic decrease in the spamtrapping.
