He's the same kind of person that is a thief, yet groups with Elestir +4 just so he can be assured a kill once in a while. I found it utterly pathetic that just now i tried to kill a solo dwarf (I think he a labbie of the group of 5)but every time i would find him, Elestir +5 would insta show up and kick my ass. Lame when you on a 450ms link and you getting spammed by about 6 others with <200... Sorry i just a little pissed that trying to PK solo offers NO rewards nowadays. What did Elestir and his group gain from my death? About 20k xp maybe 1wpt each and One Ornate, One gleaming, and one Bej shield to fucking roll for. How fucking pathetic are you hugegroup lamers. I can understand hugegrouping when you are doing something ballsy but how the fuck does spamming up and down abr constitute as UNsafe.

Elestir, Folko, Preston, Celorfilas, Bresh, Donald, and that "solo" (yet obviously luring me s abr so i had farther to run to beat that spamming bitch).
Grumm ran to the safety of Elestir when i got him bad near Caravansari, then spammed back up to rd when he got beat on down there too.

Weren't you yesterday in overkill group that almost killed me, Malak?

I am really sorry to Focus for what happened, we heard narrate he blocked at
demons, charged in and killed him, nobody noticed flag (perhaps beacuse there
was like 6 demon wolves, so was not much chance to notice it). First to notice
you were linkless was Bresh some 3 rl mins after we killed you.

If ainur gave linkless ppl diff target keywords, this would not happen.
But Manwe vetoed it. Dont blame Folko, it was all of us not seeing the flag.

First I wasn't in on kill for Focus, so I don't know anything about that. I was with Preston fighting 2 v 2 against MrJoe and noname troll, we get MrJoe bad and he runs icedoor, we enter and fight him some, then group with elestir to finish kill. Preston and I were just about to run off when 4 orcs come icedoor, obviously trying to come kill Preston and I. We end up killing 3 of the 4 orcs I think. Are you mad because your group couldn't overkill us at icedoor? Or because you were dumb enough to try and kill a lvl 20 dwarf with 6 others around. No the dwarf wasn't in a lab with Elestir.

For what its worth, my experiances with Folko have been very good and he does not need to linkless kill. Perhaps one of the whities could post a log to show what happened if that would help.

Hmm I'll agree with Elestir about one thing anyways. It is a pity that linkless flagged people dont have a different keyword. like L.*orc* for example.
It would prevent alot of accidental linkless kills. And if you think someone dropped link on purpose its not overly difficult to tack an l. at the beginning in order to execute them.

Well Focus Linkless aint for ppl who drop just drop links....
U had blocked yourself behind rock, and dropped link. And about notiching your flag
it was more like 5 minutes after we had split loot.
comfort on it but honestly i would only had given u 1 chanve in 5 that u had
survivied with link.. Still it would have been 1 chance, i always spare ppl
whom i c linkless, unless some other puke hits them mortally wounded to take the xp.
but sometimes in spam its hard to notiche, with a 280ms link following a 50ms leader.

Dropping link to avoid pkdeath isnt allowed...
And for a bn in eregion u really should just have camp rented if that was what
u wanted.

BRESH: If an emergency would not have come up, i would never had blocked myself in there. Comprehendre? I was duelling happily with Mahyr, then a terrible headache broke out. I had two chances: a) yell "sorry, gotta drop" and hope that Mahyr is a nice guy. b) block myself in somewhere nearby not to give him a temptation to linklesskill. You can ask him, that it was totally safe situation, when I left.

Appearantly I didnt think, that he would get a elestir-gr there.

So Bresh, if not for the terrible, and i mean terrible, headache the situation would have never occured.

And Elestir please store somewhere 2 castersets, 1 warriorset (incl shining) and 1 evilcasterset. Thank you :)

Well, I feel i need to add my comment here.
I never killed linkless ppl, and i never will. But i still have one
linkless kill in trophy. It happened EXACTLY the same in EXACTLY same place
2 weeks ago.
Postmaster blocked self in demon cave in Eregion, someone narrated, group of
5 came, broke rock, entered and he ripped in 2 second, before anyone noticed
linkless flag. Yes i know it is lame, but there were no chance to stop all
those stored fireballs and to notice linkless flag in all this 4 demon+5 player spam.

Comfort Focus again, sure i know rl can make u have to drop link.
And im sorry to hear u had such a bad headache, but u had played some fighting
Mahyr and then suddenly u dont have time to leave to a safe place / teleport outta reach. Its all part of the game. But in my opionion linkless is some1
who has a bad link.
Headaches u dont get within a minute. Those situations u should be able to handle yourself.
Loosing link can happen from one second to the next.
And you have no control over it.
Had u been standing in the open with flag im sure i would have spared u at least
after seeing u fleeing and not reaction if not notiching flag. But in a closed room with 5 demon wolves and a bn who blocked himself in. The fight is over in seconds.
And belive me i died tons of times linkless in the open.
The times dying linkless are 1000 times worse than the times i died in traps

If you're in trouble, just block yourself in and cut link, say you had to take a dump, and to avoid demote for linkdrop, be really really aggressive about your death. Congratulations to focus for this marvelous stragety, which is no doubt working as intended.

Well, the only reason i came down there was because that was where Grumm ran. Him and I fought Caravansari earlier and I chased him down there when he was bad/mountless. I heard a narrate that your group was in icedoor but my only intention for being there was to finish of Grumm. He bolted back up to rd, then I heard a narrate that another dwarf was up there at wounded and began to persue him. My mistake was thinking I could outrun someone leading 5. In the lag bursts I started receiving it was not so.
So many things could be done to increase solo pk and less hugegrouping but the ainu's don't seem to have that spark under their butts to change things.
I would love MUME VIII to come out soon with more benefits to solo pkers and less to hugegroupers. Dont get me wrong. I have hugegrouped myself. But usually only in huge traps where both sides have many, or when we orcs do something crazy like raid tharbad.
