I was just resting to regen mana, while reading my client help file, when an ev

Almacar the Half-Man is a level twenty-seven Black Númenórean Wizard.

Two things i REALLY dislike about mume. First the dark side is discouraged
from going bree to pk while the White side is discouraged from going to noc/warrens to pk (mobs, mauluses, etc). This one means that if you're looking for pk you're often stuck sitting ford or waiting for pukes to get brave enough to enter warrens, or vice versa orcs to go bree. This should be reverse or removed imo, since i think pk should be encouraged if you looking to play for fun.

The second is all the magical item shit in mume. I don't recall any of the chars in the Lord of the Rings wearing all kindsa magic shit. They had very few things, as i think mume players should have. And things they do get be very rare. Should have more things set up for skill and less for eq (IE diff types of daggers yes, but all approx same good, example: 1 high parry, 1 high ob, 1 high dam, 1 balanced. With some diff names for each, and some various other ones thrown in. But not BRD is best, all else is shit bullshit.)
I thought when u could change weapons at weaponsmiths the coolest thing implemented in a long time cause it provided variation in the game, and then
they removed it :(

I agree with Nazgum that it might make mume more fun without all the ubereq since then we wouldn't hurt so much when we die.

bn mage isnt supposed to be a match vs. puke mage. BN has plenty of possibilities to kill lev 20 stuff since they cant exp in bree like every orc exping in noc. But i agree, spamspelling bn with quick fireballs and ending up with hot mana and dead bn, this is too much.

This was quite fun although I died as pig!

I didn search for pk as i was going to get iron from Malardil. Suddenly enter castle ... oops elf.. close door.. lock door.. fball elf.. hope that puke starts panicing...

My plan failed as hmm I think I am not scary enough. And pukes dont scare me anymore:(

If you've ever played an old computer game called Lands of Lore: Throne of Chaos they had weapons that were similar to each other but then they had weapons with a different name. I think MUME should imp that cause it allowed for more variety. For example, if you had it in mume you could see something such as
A mace (Pounder) is here.
A nasty orkish fang (Soul Pierce) is here.
And you would give it something along the lines of +1-5% ob or more damage or less delay.
You could also randomize it so it loads on all kinds of different mobs at the same time e.g. The plain shirt (Protector, +2 more db) could be found on Eoghha's corpse or on a hobbit smuggler's.
