Yup and that scarred the group off and they wouldn't pk more :( i stayed tried get em come back i thought we all were ahving a good time in those 2 or 3 nice battles we had, but i think that poisoning freaked em out a bit

Poisons are gay because they aren't balanced at the moment. (in my opinion) Psylonia took me from 100 mana to 8 the instant I got poisoned, then it took 2 remove poisons to get rid of it.

I little bird with a V on it's head told me recently that poisoned weren't balanced.
Just wonder whats taking them so damn long to balance...

I think I was first to get poisoned..didnt even notice till I fell asleep:P

In a battle 6 vs 8 poison looks cool. But when I get hit by poisoners as solo BN it looks ridiculous.

Ideas to change:
a) it shouldnt affect instantly, maybe in 2 ticks lets say?
-> will save the solo chars from pathetic overkill. Still cool during a warrens raid or any other huge fight.

b) more rare ingredients
-> no mass use

*a Hobbit* nods in agreement with *a Half-Elf*.

Poisons are no problem. I have never noticed that they have any effect whatsoever. In fact corpses that come from poison killed pukes make very spicy and tasty food :)

It was 8 to 6. By mume standards thats an INCREDIBLY fair fight. So yeah poisons are completly lame.

Why is poison "lame" niccolo?
It's just another advantage that is available for players to use in battle.

Well blackfoot, poison is lame because there is no easy counter for a solo non-caster. Yes there is antidote lore but many people dont find mume fun to play if they are continually having to run from one end of arda to another to collect herbs. (I usually offer gold for draughts as orc cause the time spent making them is lost time where i could be doing something fun).

My small list of lame mume things are - poison, 5 stored quakes, call lightning, overkill traps. My own personal code of honor prevents me from using any of the above on someone who has not tried to use one of the above on me.
A pity there aren't more adults out there like myself.

that will not hesitate to take any advantage to defeat their enemy.

*ponder* Which of my orcs killed a puke with your orc in eregion? I seldom group with people outside my circle of friends. I certainly don't remember any situation remotely similar to what you just described. I don't roleplay, and I definitly wouldn't use roleplay as an excuse for immature behavior.

As I use my personal code of honor with all my characters (Be they puke, bn, or orc) I'd have to say "NO" I dont see an inconsistency.
