This was no trap, it was actually funny because i had heard that zbn
was around bree, my brother was in my room talking to me and i said

Erm, Diam, if that had been anyone in there but a bashing warrior, they probably would have died without scrolls etc. Not too many people can stand up to a bn with storedquakes without scrolls or sanc, especially in a closed room.

Ways to backfire quake trap? All classes: purple - recite it early and you're a winner. Mage: unstore fireballs, continue with quickbolts, you won't go past hurt; use just quick bolts - almost as effective; unstore your own quakes, you have speed and dmg advantage. Warrior: use one of your 2 skills - bash (besides a warrior is never gonna die to quakes)! Thief: hardest, but 1 arrow with psylonia (or even arachnia) is almost an overkill, and maxcon thieves (320 hp?) with some spellsave and nasty shooting will never die to quake.

A maxcon thief with say 40 or more levels levels = 360hps+
brd, 10 ob sapphire, and slap on a bwf you have 150 ob hitting very fast since attack skill. Those do okie vs a bn quake trapper since after quakes are gone its unlikely that the bn will be getting another spell off. But its real real close. Now a puke mage with quakes is another story...
