Look around kids. Not all MUDS are hack and slash basic diku anymore.
Wake up. Most decents muds have everybit of the same implementations
of MUME and more, and far superior management/gameplay. If MUME was so
great it would be the #1 Mud out there, which it isnt and never has been.
I came to MUME originally because it never had pwipes. Thats always a plus.
Now after 8 years of playing MUDS, I realize Ive never been on a mud with
so many whiny, arrogant immature little kids that take a decent MUD and turn
it into a joke of gameplay. MUME does have decent mature players though
but why you stick around is beyond me.

btw, while I wrote the above as a valid opinion of a truly gay
ass community of mudders, I also wrote it to get you all flamed up
and act like your usual dork selves. Flame away babies!!!

Wolfwalker was a pain to alot of players cause she rarely reimbursed and was allways after cheaters. Many of those that dislikes her were infact caught cheating on numerous occasions.
What wolfwalker was best at was to run the mud and its development. SHe was very conservative, maybe even to conservative. And then came that total fuckup Miko and completely ruined the game. I really wish that something terrrible happened to Miko in rl.

I miss Shadrach...he added a special (evil) spice to the game (even if it sometimes ended in humiliating mobdeath) He was also very good exp.

Nothing beats running away from 6 badass trolls and jumping off the high cliff far down into lake to get away.

That's fun unless one of those trolls is a jackass shaman who succeeds paralyzing you and you drown instead of swimming away.

tried it.

Yup, you have to pay to play EverQuest. Not only for the software itself, but also a monthly fee to actually play it online. They really know how to get money out of ppl these days.

I say, let's be grateful for what we have in MUME and that the management does this entirely FREE!
