Notice how I cast an entire block door before any in group even tries to close metaldoor, even if we had agreed on this beforehand.

And true, we were 11 on 9, but you were fully rested and had lots of big bad trolls in group. Pandion screamed on all for sucking and not blocking, but I don't think we did such a lousy job. too many casters were simply bound up in melee fighting as they were targeted - by chance or by skill.

And since Pandion will flame me for fleing fast, I can as well defend myself right now. I tried block (2nd action on entry), buffed ernie and vridush, bot bashed 2 times and stayed until i was 100hps down and armour went off.

You know what might be a kewl idea? Some sort of connection between Filthy Cave and Dark Tower. Could be something simple like a 5 room long tunnel with a one-way exit into Dark Tower's rent room OR a whole sub-basement to the tower with a connection into Filthy (two-way). There would be some game balance stuff to think through first but it might be a simple, fun addition to the map.
