It was BASH + shoot vs quake. That purple hardly made a difference.
If you wanna kill some1 with 318 hps with 5 quakes, that means you gotta do 63.6 hps per quake. Not that likely.
You were bad after, meaning you were like 40-70 hps, meaning he did aprox 50-55 hps per quake.
So, without the purple, you woulda been probably awful maybe, but not dead.

I think it is awsome that purple sometimes sucks total ass -> more variance to the game.

I am not for "remove all numbers from mume", but I like "unknown circumstances".
Atleast there should be a random variable in most calculations. If we get (49-wis-wil) sancs, it is just math and boreing.

So coming back to purple -> if purple sanc is fixed to some cleric level, it is boring. If it is variable, then you recite and take a chance ... and the fight might become more interesting than expected.

isn't the quakedam thru quake more than ordinary dam thru sanc?

1. Hmm, what was your ob with bow? Lucky bash I'd say.
2. Poor Moandor didn't realize u were sanced otherwise he would have left.
3. As far as I know purple's sanc is fixed number. At least I tested it at Willow with my cleric and he did 13 dam when I had sanc spell up and same amount when I recited purple. *shrug*

Purple was a level 20 sanct last time I checked. Which means it sucks ass, but its a little bit better than nothing.

It appears Stormblast has started a sickening trend. When he was the only bn running around quaking it was all good. But now everyone and his mother has succumbed to the temptation, even Petter; funny how most of you suck so badly at it tho. I for one won't soil myself with such an artless spell.
