Bajs =)
Gorfirion2000-11-21 23:33:21
*comf* Like when I mobdied to chief when it repopped, I had wrong door set. Except here it seems
that you got the right door set about half-way through. But by then it was too late :(
Unknown2000-11-21 23:42:02
You must have been away some time. Everyone and his mother does stonedoor traps, and only idiots like rain, or newbies like rain, fall for them.
Dispater2000-11-21 23:43:49
That's what you get for fuckin with orcs!!
Eldacil2000-11-21 23:55:39
Can someone tell me for certain if the tp requirements for the travelling herblore go up with level?
(This has nothing to do the the traveller's list BTW.)
Grang2000-11-21 23:57:20
Sauron bid this to happen! Sharghl and Tryksh, lead Sauron into the
West. The armies of good will no longer be armies, they will be
scattered peasants in hiding from the vast hordes of raiders!
None are safe!

bah..

dont we all just love unknowns.. *love*
Eothen2000-11-22 00:24:27
You need 70k tps and at least hero level to get travelling. That 3k * level tps is a myth, possibly you can get it with less than 70k but 70k has been enough in my experience. Also you must be sent to arda.
Eldacil2000-11-22 00:29:23
*nod eothen* Thanks for the info. I have 101k tps so you think I just need better alignement? I've been told my an ainur that alignment wasn't a factor though.
Eldacil2000-11-22 00:29:49
my an ainur should have been an ainur.
Eldacil2000-11-22 00:30:18
Ack! *slap self* Should have been BY an ainur. :)
Azg2000-11-22 00:43:51
I gotta agree with Unknown there, *comf Ilmarin*
Ilmarin2000-11-22 01:29:44
As I said, I was going to see who was trapping, close the door and flee out of the room.
To my dismay, I had the wrong doorsetting, tried to close the cloakroom, and fleed in stonedoor.
Sure I've been away for a while but I know where that trap is =)
Mayavi2000-11-22 04:20:19

Bah, darkies [except bn thieves] are WAY too easy to play these days.
You never find them solo except some brave ones.
The rest just level up, learn smite/crush, get some draughts, form a group
and trap/trap. How does anyone get personal satisfaction out of this I can't
imagine.
The only thing easier is whitie mages, but that's another story.
Mammoth2000-11-22 06:24:08
Mayavi if you honestly think something is overpowered/too easy to level etc.
Go and play em?
Sloshed2000-11-22 07:10:11
mayavi easiest FUCKING class in this game is a puke thief so don't gimme that fucking shit everytime i log orc there is no one to fucking pk with and if there is it's prob 2 others if that you go try and pk with 3 and y hae 10 after ya instantly so don't gimme this orc is to easy bullshit when i doubt you even have a fucking orc
Labero2000-11-22 10:41:33
Door settings? I don't exactly pity you. Any sane person has alias for all doors
in the game. :-)
Tempest2000-11-22 15:53:17
Wish I could feel sorry for you, but when you rely on the computer to play for you, shouldn't I feel more sorry for it since you programmed it so bad? Some people give me crap about my how I play sometimes, but at least when I play it's all ME playing. No actions, no door settings, no bindings, no autowimpy triggers, none of that crap except Mume aliases. If I fuck up it's me.
Cur2000-11-22 15:55:34
*NOD* Labero. Clients are for wimps.
Gray2000-11-22 16:09:17
To Tempest: why do you let farmers to make food for ya? Why don't you go have
your own farm for food, workshop to build car for yourself etc? Because each must do things that he does better!!! Not each can type fast (typertest says
that I type 100 chars/min - for example), not each have good reaction. But don't you think that there are some good programmers who can do their best to have some advantage in pk - i.e. set up their clients? EACH USES HIS OWN ADVANTAGE. Period.
Salmar2000-11-22 21:01:20
I don't get why you paniced there so much? Seemed almost like u didn't know where you are :p
Tempest2000-11-22 22:36:15
Um Gray, I'm a sucky ass two finger typer, and I still use telnet. Letting the computer type or even react for you means that you aren't doing shit, it's the computer doing everything for you. Sure, it makes your hunting x amount faster and track y amount faster and have door names set for etc, but do you really know how good *you* are. Alot of peoples clients on Mume rock, while the players themselves are average at best. I'm not claiming I rock cause I use telnet, but at least I know what *I* can do.
Ilmarin2000-11-22 22:56:24
I know exactly where I was. I had stinking eq, and was trapped in two rooms, I tried to flee
as soon as they hitted me, to buy time for some people outside to come pick it open.

I haven't been playing for three or four months, so I got the wrong doorname when I narrated for help.
I don't rely on triggers. Actually I play Mume because it makes me be more into the game then say Burning.stacken.kth.se
where I sat for hours just checking my triggers never failed, which they didn't....

Jocke2000-11-23 10:20:18
Sorry to disapponint you Sloshed, but the easiest class to play in MUME atm is
orc warrior.]
Gray2000-11-23 15:27:55
Tempest, I know what *I* can do too... I can write triggers. If you can't - why do you blame me? Learn some programming - problem solved.
Tempest2000-11-24 07:46:12
I can program, and have a job doing it. I also could have a client if I wanted, but don't for reasons said above. The computer making me quicker is like athletes who use steroids and wonder why people think they suck when they get caught.
