Yesterday there was a guy standing in from of me in the line a Burger King, and his wallet was kinda half out of his pocket. The guy looked rich, there was no one around, and I barely had enough to pay for my hamburger, much less my rent, so I tried to pickpocket him *blush*. Well, he felt it, and I started to run like hell. The guy chased me, alnog with a Burger King worker! I realized they might catch me so I stopped to try to be diplomatic, but the guy punched me in the face, but I was able to get up and start running again. Luckily, the police station was nearby, and thinking that it might be the lesser of two evils I ran there. I burst in the door, and the two guys stopped chasing me because they knew that they'd be the ones that got arrested if they kicked my ass in there. Unfortunately, God was unwilling to let scoiety run it's course, so he spirited away all the police officers. Of course, the two men then promptly beat my ass.
