Well, you get killed linkless - you lose wps, xps, eq, as a bn you get 2-3 hrs of depression... You die afk - you lose wps, xps, eq and get depressed... where's the difference? You can't do shit in either case, you just get slaughtered...

It was my fault dying afk for sure. I wonder though, just how often pukes check for afk players d/s from the room with guards in it without maybe being 'tipped off'??? Also, sure its fun to kill someone afk but I thought it a bit lame to be gloating about it like it was a good thing to find someone afk. I always kill afk players - it's dumb to go afk in a semisafe room - I just feel bad about it still ... not like 'hey kewl look what I found - an easy kill' It seems like these nsl losers only look for ways to get easy kills (oh and Forin might not play FROM nsl but sure plays LIKE one *poke*).

Personally I still can't find any fun in killing afk ppl...I like to track them down, watch how they hopelessly try to flee from you, see them begging for mercy, ant then finally slaying them after hard/long fight and then narrating about it... you might call it roleplaying, but I just call it having fun...

I wasn't complaining about dying afk. I was making a point of the typical NSL attitude that it was kewl to find someone afk and, in turn, get an easy kill (not that I am superhard to kill even when I am not afk *blush*).

If its just a game like you say, why the lame playstyles? Why not just quit bein lame? Well... tell me if I am wrong (everyday in the like of an NSL -Newbie Swede Lab-member):
Wake up for class @8am, go to class for 9am. Spend lunch hour in lab. Finish classes in the afternoon, run home to mama and dada, eat dinner, do homework, run back to school, log onto lab for the rest of the night till your eyes won't stay open, go home to sleep. Repeat. Saturday and Sunday, spend all day in lab. Seems very fulfilling to spend your teenage (best years of your life) years in a white room filled with computers and no socialization with the real world. At least us older people have accomplished things in our life, and have something to show for it. For us it isn't an insatiable addiction like it is for you... we just spend a few hours here or there of our free time playing. Perhaps when you really DO grow up, you will realize you wasted alot of "the best years of your life" rotting away being laughed at by schoolmates, and hated by your gaming community!

Well, I could post their names, but this is a comment board where I state my personal opinion. I don't feel like getting spammed by NSL on MUME for what I say here. Lets just say that I am experienced enough to know what I am talking about, and what Darkangel said really made me fume. She calls someone who logs 1/10 of time that the average NSL'er does, a loser? Look who has the youth and opportunity to enjoy herself IRL, but decided to spend rl months and months on a computer game. You only live once so why rot your life away here? And, yes I play, but I probably average 1 hour per night at most. Sometimes I log on for 3 hours, sometimes I don't log in at all.

If they can't at the moment, they will in a while, so they won't lose their entire youth in front

Dear americans, you have a totaly different school system then we have here in sweden.
Hence you can not compare your "grades" to ours. I belive you start your first grade at
the age of 6 while we start at the age of 7 generally, if you don't count kindergarden
and the swedish perschool (wich starts at the age of 6). Then we have 9 years of
elemetary school, 2-4 years of highschool (i belive the new system is 3 years for
all or something), then we have the college/university. That makes it possible
for you to make 15-20 straight years of school before you graduate and finally
start your working career, depending on your direction. If you want to you can
offcourse drop out of school much earlier, only the first 9 years are compulsory,
but then you would end up like the street cleaner and have the same educational
level as the average american. And honnestly, who would want that?

I hate Norway! I was there last summer and the prices there suck :O) If I lived
in Norway I would never ever go out and eat at McDonald's or Burger King (I remember Whopper Meal was like 60 swedish crowns...) that sucks :O) how do you ppl afford ANYTHING at all in Norway? *peer*
