About six feet long, this staff was crafted from a perfect branch of oak
by a master woodworker. Runes are carved on its sides, and its surface
is smoothly polished. Truly this is a masterwork of carpentry.
Looking closer, you are able to see some more details: namely, its foot is shod
with iron, silvery bands encircle it from top to bottom, a lustrous fire opal
has been inlaid in it.
Atop the staff, a bronze claw holds a large blue crystal, which glows faintly.
