Girando fights me 1 on 1 in blocked area. More description in log.
I was just about do to Umuk with quakes, had stored 3 quakes and went to sleep behind rock. Dropped link
to go smoking, but it took some time to convince labmates to come with me, so I logged on again for a sec
to store 2 more quakes and then drop link. So I'm half-standing at keyboard, logging on:

I tracked Elf into there - pretyped n;block door just to see noone inside in
those two rooms - waited two minutes just to see Engelbert reconnecting and
insta ready for me :p doh, guess luck I guess - and pretty cool Engelbert if
you standing only half at the keyboard and be ready to cancel store and insta
start pk - I am not able to do that :)

Puke mages are too overpowered (Obviously) =p Engelbert eats 50 damage to two stored balls. I go to hurt to two fireballs, two bolts and two extremely hard pounds (armour still up after all that). Seems a little whacked out to me *comf Girando* One of the last cool ones out there that will fight the good fight =(

*shrug* Puke staffs don't help everyone. A good bn still wipes 90%+ pukes for the simple reason most players on the game aren't all that bright. Girando is a good player and knows he just got unlucky in meeting someone who plays mume 24/7 and therefore has highly honed reflexes and botlike ability...(not that that was needed in a 2 room fight...)

Btw, they let 14 year olds smoke in estonia?

*Laugh unknown* Staff give +2 attack? Staff give -1 ssave when focused, and bns can do same +4 attack as pukes (crown+copper+ask any orc to embed opal+corberyl into rough staff, or go to dt and embed urself). I agree that staff gives insane spell speed, but it adds nothing to attack :P

Gray - BNs can do only +1attack with staff - they can embed corb and opal, but
staff will only be +1 (id it!) - there is a possibility to get a +2 attack staff,
but chances are loooowww. BNs also cant prac endurance and parry which means they
have to spent their stat points elsewhere to survive. They also have big stat/class
maluses, which means they get 19 17 mentals the most while pukes can get 20 18 -
which does a lot of difference. They also have less stat points to spend. blabla..

Not that it would have made a differenc in this case, but i would have tried
a few bolts on the sleeping guy to get him down some/remove his shield, before
i released my stored spells. It's often better to use the stored spells when you
oponent is starting to cast back on you. Maybe Axel have a different opinion
on this.

Well, why they embed not-so-easy-to-get corberil then? And yes, I know bns have -3 overall stats compared to pukes, and have less int compared to elf (not ANY puke), but they have more con and race_hps compared to elf - thus compensating enurance: try compare elf with 3-5 pracs endu and with same level/same age bn with no endu but +1 con? As about praccing tons endurance - suck pukemage will have huge spell malus, which will compensate int/wis bonus... I agree that bns have probs with will (i.e. manaregen/sleep/charm), and have no staves - but pukes are more clueless after all ;) Just avoid fighting legend pukemages who know Moria - which means they are NOT clueless :P
