I usually fight darkies with odds 1 vs 2+ too. I know exactly the feeling if the link is gonna fuck up right then. Died linkless once near Bree to 2 orcs. At the start the link was ok, then started freezing and at wounded froze completely. *comf*

The last comment about numbers don't include trolls of course :-) Against them it's impossible even 1 vs 1(olog).

Um that may look like he had some control, but 2 second lag? jesus guys, that means he can't react to roomdescs before he's bashed so his only hope is to spam dirs hoping not to die before link clears up. That is not "common lag", that's linkless in a pk situation.

What snotty told me was that forin spam fled but failed and ate a bash. when i read the log i dont see a single flee attempt before the bash goes in.

Dont make an elefant out of a fly. Many people have died this way and even with much worse link. But when a good player dies this way then there is too much screaming around it. I played long time with familiar link, i never reached warlords, but i was always close. It also needs skill to pkill with lag...
