Fyi only one dead warg was found in village, guess that party hurts.
Unknown2001-02-18 13:54:23
eh? this fake?
Arno2001-02-18 13:55:31
Hmm, 9 raiders and 7 wargs. 2 of the raiders are riding imaginary wargs?
Arno2001-02-18 13:56:16
Orcish raider?
Should be orkish, no?
Svejs2001-02-18 13:57:46
Only found one dead warg corpse inside village, but there was a trail of corpses from Vale fort.
Axel2001-02-18 14:04:04
Taken this is not a fake long since I see parallels concerning location and LotR
history - BUT - why do ppl post something like that - now everyone who reads
mume.net knows what can happen and you steal a lot of fun of them.
Rogon2001-02-18 14:29:50
Seems like its not checked very throughly, the wargs should say "a warg is here ridden by an orkish raider" or something like that, if it was genuine riding, shouldn't it? As for 9 riders and 7 mounts - backriding fixes that!
Rogon2001-02-18 15:33:21
thoroughly or something it's spelled too, i believe!
Thwag2001-02-18 16:00:47
Well its nice to see these zones actually include a few nice features and new things rather than the bullshit noridenoridenoridenoridenorideriverrivernorideriver the new ford is.
Eothen2001-02-18 18:36:13
Oh vale is full of norides and rivers, and I understand the Anduin has some extra special current mudlle too :p
Gerd2001-02-18 18:45:45
When on brief, mounts don't show on a separate line in the room.
Thwag2001-02-18 19:12:37
Strange, I could spam through vale area quite freely riding, those norides are easy to get across - ford zone on the other hand, if you stray from road near it it's impossible to stay mounted even 1/10th of the time.
Lothar2001-02-18 20:27:53
That River Anduin current muddle is total fuckup, i hope they wont put these muddles in other rivers. I do hope.
Johannes2001-02-20 09:34:03
I don't see why the raiders should be riding imaginary wargs. What we have here are
8 large, black wargs ridden by 8 raiders, (the great raider rides the warg chief),
and 5 large, black wargs ridden by noone. And then 2 great, black wargs also not
ridden by anyone. No back-riding!
Nienor2001-02-21 00:49:30
*nods Johannes* Also, making raiders ride imaginary wargs would be a rather complicated and unsafe exercise. (Last time I tried something like this, it crashed MUME.) I'm not saying it's impossible and there is more than one way to achieve this result, but it's definitely much easier to make them ride real wargs. As to orcish/orkish - yep, thanks for the typo report.
