Easy to say what's obvious and what's not obvious. That battle looked like it took place in less than 12 seconds. If every time I was able to hit a labswede and I had to think 'wait. he might be linkless cause I hit him and his link is normally so sweet I could never do it' then what would be the point of playing this game for either side? Macros is a good player obviously, but even good players on fast links can be cast on, hit, etc.

When i was demoted for autotracking once, it was just like that. The rule of actions
was all new and it was not clearly stated in the rules that autotracking was illegal,
as i remember it. Pll were talking about autofollow and autohit etc. I never saw
atotracking as cheating, but maybe breaking the rules, the way most of us look at
autoloot today.( this is not what i think now though. I DO think that anyone
that uses autotrack today is clearly cheating as the rule is so old and well
defined now.) I see a clear line between deliberately cheating, and breaking the
rules when not having the intention to gain a clear advantage. I say that ppl
autoloooting today is doing just that, not cheating but breaking a rule. Maybe
in 6 months we will yell at the guy who finally get demoted for looting coins
