Let's face it, when a fight goes bad for darkies in brush there aren't a lot of options. Go west, and you get power-rangered. Go east and you risk hitting a roadblock at windswept. Stay in area and you'll be speed-tracked in no time.

I saw 3 groups of 3 in this log. As someone already pointed out earlier, if you get kicked around Nenisul at daytime, then you better ASSUME that there will be people waiting for you at windswept. Or do you really expect a clear way back home just because it happens to be a day? :)

As already stated forek, you really surprised all pukelegends in game run wswept when they hear an orc is low east? Just slowmove around wierd ways in brush past many aggro mobs for a while instead of spam(50%crazy dirs) east. Its not like you were hunted by ultraelite pukes.

Comf for death. Running windswept when you are low with pukes on your tail really isn't that good idea. Just hang around brush some and you are safe.

We both know how well that works Snotty, was exactly what I was trying to do when you and your dwarfgrp came and dealt 100 instant dmg to me before I could move out of the room :) but that was like 15 in the area vs 4 of us, me being the only one that died with link (Silm died without it, sad to say :( )

Well Forek usually keeps his head so the criticism is a little harsh. With that many pukes and in his condition (and without the link) the odds were dreadfully poor. There is a way to bypass windswept but you will lose your warg. Hindsight and all that though.

You only lose your warg if you didn't give it a canoe before hand. Also, sometimes better to lose your warg and get a few moments peace in the dark forest there to get some more moves , then to keep it and try running past an army of dudes.

Did not know that. I presumed that, logically, loading warg with a canoe in addition to my riding would affect the warg's stamina and thus, its moves. May be time to check up on those misc. rules.

Well I see I wasn't alone in that. I died in the same way as Forek right before he did. Rather ungloriously. but what stunk was we had 5 of us at one point. Then 3 pukes rode in and ppl fled B4 the other 3 pukes showed up. My bloodlust got the best of me and I attacked - dumb! Then I realized I was alone and fled into Wswept. Sigh. No more 3 - 5 groups for me. I prefer the 1 - 2 deal. Easier to coordinate and the odds become very easy to perceive.
