well Aschit, first dont give a shit about that 2 bn thives vs warrior and puke thief is fair fight especially when you try trap us at your home. Second i decided to try lure after your bashtrap at gate. and finnaly you traped yourself cause i get sneak off when i flee and they were flushin all times. in fact it was my first overkill from fuckin 4 years and i still dotn like it. btw think about bn thieves weakness and then say that 2vs 2 is fair, isnt you say that bn thief = puke midlevel?

Well, I underestimated the power of my lag. I figured since the trappers couldn't flush (they had a sneaker baiting) I had time to spam d u and be ok. As you can tell in log, I had some nasty freeze at that exact moment, and even though I pretyped up, by the time it went in I was already fucked. If I had even a HINT that there would be more than 2-3 down there, I never would have scouted, and would have just rented instead.

What REALLY pisses me off though, is the person that baited is one who flamed me repeatedly for 'overkilling' him, even though it was 3 vs 4 (the 3 he tried to trap with 4 that is) at khuzur and at demon wolves. Hilariously, I fought him solo the WHOLE time (with the exception of 1 bob). When I went to scout tall orc for him I left as soon as I realized someone else was in there. This person killed him 1:1 and he flames ME for overkill, even though I was a zone away by the time he died. Now this person, who flames me for an overkill that never happened, INTENTIONALLY traps 9 vs. a max of 2 who would enter?

2 bn thieves against a warrior and a thief with 2-3 second lag bursts is indeed a fair fight. I completely fail to see how a 2:2 trap attempt makes it reasonable to call *7* more to trap 2. "I decided to lure after your bashtrap at gate" That is bullshit, you had already been baiting there before, although the orcs hadn't yet entered. If I hadn't already deleted the rest of the log, I could show you at least 3 times you went to trap after running from me or Bubby. The orcs had been in the area for at least 5 ticks before the log starts. I doubt they spammed there from Bree just for the practice on their speedwalking. If this was your first 'overkill' from 4 years you must REALLY suck as a baiter, since I can't count on 1 hand the number of times you have tried to trap me solo with at least 2 more. "And I still don't like it." That's bullshit, if you didn't like it you wouldn't have gotten a total of 9 to trap a max of 2, who were mostly fighting solo. Blah blah blah, whine whine whine, etc etc etc.

I never complained (at least as far as Morholth goes) about the lag. Morholth knew I lagged, though, since I yelled it to him early in the fight. I 99% would have died even with a good link. My complaint was that Morholth, who flames people for overkill when he dies in a 1:1 fight, called 7 more in a 2 vs 2 fight. And how could someone dying in a 9 vs 1 trap NOT be the underdog?

That smrtak and his czechs does 10vs1 traps a dozen times per day is common knowledge. but how come liart who claims he never traps was there! A change of mind? Anyway lucky you had whip, or aschit woulda rocked ya! better have trolls next time to be sure!

Reason I scouted: I thought it was only a few orcs, and figured they had to search instead of flush since 2 bn thieves were the baiters. Thus, I had a reasonable chance to escape. Reason I didn't storeport: I'M A FUCKING THIEF. Reason I didn't use rock: I'M NOT A LABBIE so I have no access to them. Axel: the reason it was fair fight is that Bubby and I were solo while Jheran and Morholth were trying doublestab (if you spam search you only find the first sneaker, 2nd has chance at stab still). 90% of the time Bubby and I were nowhere near each other, the exceptions being when we tried to trap (2:2) in my legend home, and when we stood at n gate. What pisses me off most about this is Morholth got me on trophy. Times like this really remind me how much I liked the OLD system.

trap is lame - you die there - where is the difference, if you would have died with just one orc with us or 10? (I told in other comment how it happens that there are suddenly more instead of 3 or smth) you would have died anyways. So I do not really get why ppl continue posting such logs - shit happens - you die in trap, it is avoidable, you fucked it up. And for sure p OM knows how to avoid stuff! All such logs do is a flame-war between the groups which do not like each other. Certainly traps are lame, but so are smiter-groups, poisons, bottle-necks, uber-links, locate blablabla *whine*!

Yes, it was stupid to scout to begin with, and I had a good chance to die even if they were 3 and no blockers (with that whip). I got cocky on my rocking 1 second lag link, and thought if I spammed down up I would be ok. I was wrong, I got mini-freeze (not that it mattered) and I died. It's not the death that I care about, if I posted every time I died mume.net would run out of web space. It's the fact that *9* people trapped 1. This isn't a matter of 'shit happens'. That phrase refers to random events/bad luck/etc. When you intentionally trap with 9 for 1-2 people, that is you *making* shit happen.

And as for the double-stab: "*Jheran* has arrived from the east. *Morholth* has arrived from the east. *Jheran* tries to sneak behind you. *Morholth* tries to sneak behind you. (Jheran was searched out, Morholth's sneak just sucks against thieves, though he did get a stab in on me earlier). That happened some 4-5 rooms in a row, as I left and was followed. This might indeed have been a coincidence, since if you both hunted me it is possible you simply typed commands in at the same time. But Bubby mentioned it to me first. That's when I decided we should bash one of you, since with lag it is impossible to get searches in fast enough to reveal both of you. I'm kinda offended that you called it a 'bashtrap' since we were only 2, and you KNEW who and what we were. If it were a bashtrap 3+ more would have entered room on the bash.
