I do understand what Axel's talking about..its understandable. The (player) has lost his link can hide many a lame player! I talked to Kaoleth and tried to tell him about our viewpoint, that it looked like linkdrop - from the distance it is way more clear than during battle - I am sorry about what happened, but sometimes you just get it wrong and that was one of those times. To the Tbad/Aschit log: I used to have a strong dislike about traps and I will always have a certain dislike, but in the close past ever of my deaths was to total lameass traps, so now I really do not care anymore if there is an occasion where I am in an exp group or when friends are around I take part!

Also, in response to Atastor: I think mume has gotten a lot more whiney since mume.net got up and logs could be posted here, now everyone posts their "I died linkless" logs, and then _everyone_ whines about it. Mume.net was a good thought but with this playerbase it has been totally perverted.

indeed - we definatly would not have killed him linkless, if he would not have called eagle - but hearing the "song" we spammed even more since we thought he was lost and now moveless too - then after first round of spells he looses link - it just looked all so obivous. Lately the number of linkdroppers increased. They travel (not nescessarily chased), get low moves, drop link to regen. Some drop link after running some rooms from enemies when they know they cant make it. Then when they die, they post logs how the died linkless and make others look bad. Those people abuse the will of others to spare linkless killers and are IMO the scum of MUME. Sorry again, Kaoleth - from your viewpoint it certainly looks totally different than it looked from ours. I could post our viewpoint too, since I always log everything, but I refuse to do it here. If ppl are interested I can mail it to them or make it available on my page.
