well i'm sorry for that, Zaber is one of those nice NSL, so i wouldn't kill, u had no flag , we whacked u to bad ,when u were not fleeing much we stopped hit u, i slept u just for fun, didn't want to hurt u when link down,i prolly shouldn't do it but i do things like that usually ,sleeping darkies etc, was ment like joke, all others were joking too, dunno why Diam did what he did

yes im friend of dia, but talk out what? dia doesnt kill linkless and he didnt do it this time also. 1st we jumped on you i realized that u ld when u were wounded or so. spammed tons to stop and flee - all was quiet. then diam came, hitted - started spamming stop again. ok all was quiet. we darkened, and started waiting when u recconect. we waited min, another and looked at you, u were healthy - some1 slept ya and we started waiting again when u recconect. u recconected 9-11 min later, ate harm from diam and - rip. btw u were flagless all the time.

Well, Magica, you are MUCH easier to kill linkless than any other puke, so...

You can all eat shit and die.

You were healthy when you reconnected, with no armour. You got a prompt from the harm which took you to bad and the slash incapped you. Because you were slept you didn't see any starts casting messages and would've had to move VERY quickly to figure out that you were asleep and move a room before the harm landed. Even then the spammers probably could've killed you with no armour. Yes, you should use linkdrop, but you had so little chance to survive what they did...I just dunno.

I don't think you are "supposed" to survive when you are a solo, linkless whitie on TMT. As far as ppl not noticing you're linkless, it takes alot of self restraint to cancel a harm when you start it because your opponent MIGHT be linkless. If 5 shamans walk by, each harm you once and then leave you alone, you'll die. Sounds like Daim was #4, and he had obviously started his harm before you reconnected (thus didn't intend to wait for you to reconnect to kill you). If they narrate that you're linkless, some jerk _WILL_ come to kill you. If they heal or protect you, they are under risk of demotion. So get real, quit complaining, and petition against linkwhores!!

I still wish everyone would take a vow that from now on they will always kill linkless, every time. Because if everyone always killed linkless every time then maybe we'd never, ever, ever, ever, ever have to see another one of these goddamn "He killed me linkless, condemn him!" posts ever again. I stand corrected, Dia didn't necessarily start casting before reconnect, since he was slept. But you still shouldn't expect to live, and shouldn't rush to blame Dia.

Nazgum, I play from Louisville Kentucky, and on a modem link at that, don't presume. I've spent most of my mume time for years with a greater than 500 ms link. People's frustration with dying linkless I have no problem with, people trying to smear shit over others on mume.net because they -think- they were killed linkless (when often, for various reasons, the person doing the killing had no idea) I have little tolerance for. You eat a death linkless, be an adult about it, pick yourself up and move on.

The whole story so far is, Mocho slept me for fun, then dispelled me, so that my necklace exploded, and since armour already was down, shield prob dropped thanks to dispell, then when I reconnecet dia insta harm, What I don't see is why not just kill me linkless instead of doing it so much more complicated? Durcano had nothing to do with kill really, he's just a nice guy...

Killing someone just as they reconnect is the same as killing linkless in my book. Let me give you an exaple; I was going from rdell to fnost and my link (33k modem) was really fucked up. Spamming past ford I see 2 nonames standing there, I spam past and lose link a few rooms after ssc, reconnect and gets insta smited and pounded, I flee and spam some cure up and then lose link again a bit s-e of lb, reconnect and gets insta hit again and so it went on I lost link 5 more times on the way to fnost everytime I reconnected I got instahit until I died on rtf. I had gotten away from them 5 times but they tracked me down while I linkless so there was not much I could do. Even if they didn't hit me while I was linkless I still say this was a linkless kill.

I think its quite obvious why linkless death logs are posted. People are angry because they died linkless, and they want others to know who did it. I worked well in this case because I had no idea Dia would do something like this. And I also had no idea that Mocho would play with someone linkdead like -apparantly-he did. I personally haven't seen either of these people do this sorta thing in the past, but judgin' by Dia's comments, he may do it again(?). Though in the past he has spared my pukes when ld.
