Not sure why you couldn't cast faster than shoot. He must have had max missile skill is my guess. I do think (with mm's tiny damage) that it should at least have about the same delay as shoot. Max missile with bhsb is nasty though.

Hey now, no complaints on Prist's death here... It just proves how far he's gone from the BN who mobripped everytime after getting legend level... (He's at least got more skill than I, since he warlorded)

The only thing you could have done better is not to spam 100x magic m as soon as you see that he can outshoot you. Give yourself time to change spell quickly or at least to unlock and get out - it wasn't a kill or die situation. Nice going tho! Eff vs. missile is not an issue here for I don't remember it boosting shoot speed or decreasing MM casting time :P. About Goren staying cool... I bet he just shit his pants and spammed shoot, so to speak :).

No, i was saying with eff vs missile he might actually PARRY some of the missiles shot at him.
Esp considering shortbows don't have very good offensive.. then ofcourse neither do bns have good defence 8P

Spamming that many spells is dangerous as all hell. Just unlock, flee, lock, store another fb, unlock, e, lock, dead hobbit. Most people cant pick the door that fast and/or are too disoriented to pick and get out before u store another fb, so the keygame usually works good unless someone gets a block off on the door when they first charge baker - then you are fucked.
