Ancient Forest
This dim forest of ancient cedars is silent save for the occasional howling
of wolves. The trees are of gigantic proportion - sometimes over ten feet
in diameter at their base - and are generally covered with a furry blanket
of moss and lichens.

Ancient Forest
To the north, a building of some sort lies among the huge old cedars. From
here, it appears to have been abandoned for quite some time - it is as
covered with moss as the tree trunks. The floor of the forest here has been
disturbed, and there are tracks of some sort of large canine.

Dark Forest
Each footstep is muffled by the mat of rotting leaves that covers the dark
forest floor. No smaller vegetation, other than mosses and lichens, has
managed to exist down here in the shadow of these giant cedars. Here and
there, the tracks of several large animals - probably wolves judging from
the occasional howls - can be seen.

South - Forest Border
West - Dark Forest [17:69]
o iMc NB 1779[17:79]>Dark Forest
This gloomy forest is old - everything from the musty smell to the thick
velvet coat of moss on the trunks indicates that these trees have lasted
for hundreds of years. To the west, the forest gets a bit lighter - it is
still far from a cheery place, but at least it looks like some light gets
through there.
