In a very technical sense it may be correct that one's own chars should not be on friend's list, but unlike the examples analogized by Wryak (eq exchanges, xp etc) what is the difference----it's just a place to rent, isn't it. Who cares and why should they? Legend homes are useless vanity palaces for the self-esteem challenged. Plus, the obvious "dodge" is for people to put coordiate their friend's lists so that person #1 lists all of person #2 chars as friends and person #2 lists all of person #1's char of friends. Mmmmmm, that kind of works for banking eq, too (#1 has char who holds eq for #2, #2 has char who hold eq for #1) ---- you think anybody might be doing that? (BTW: That problem could be mitigated if there was a limit on how much eq could be held in rent by a char. Innkeepers should refuse to rent if eq is too valuable. Prudent business practice. It would also frustrate the equipment horders.)

Wow, that Xsho is really a genius. I have worried about having so many wealthy patrons, but I just didn't know what to do. I really must think about turning them away. I hate to lose the business, but I can't be responsible for so much valuable equipment. What if an innocent guest is injured during a robbery. *sigh* What a disaster, I could get SUED!!!!

Want wasn't posted was that I entered w/o shield and before Fiolas died I had no armour. And that when we tried to get out I was set as buff but since neither of us could pick I had to flee, on bad, tried to cure and died. And when they re-entered on Gimilzor he stored a fireball and got Fiolas to awful, so, we/Gimilzor kicked pretty much ass and _we_ were the ones with bad luck.
