Nah, disagree. You make two potions. Quaff one before you go out and keep the other handy. Then spam poison them! Worked nicely against Sharmak and his group, Shargl going down to arachnia and Mammoth and co low when they got away. Fight fire with fire, and keep a fire extinguisher handy. Or something.

I don't know if antidote really would have made much difference. If the antidote was made before fighting the orcs then yes it would have made a difference. If antidote was made after he got poisoned he was dead. A short while after the fight mume ticked and he went to tired moves. There is a chance he could have survived from tired moves with a bob from a friend or a well placed hide...

This is why this game is REALLY starting to suck. Norsu and Co. is abusing the poison command. Its bad enough he’s to chicken to go out west by himself and he overkills and im sure he has super track. So what’s with the poison? I recommend making only certain weapons poison able (mostly piercers and arrows because it is a thief skill so lets make the thief weapons only poison able) So Norsu how many Pukes on your trophy have you gotten from FAIR (<-Key word) 1 vs. 1 NON-poisoning kills? Like what 4%?

Poison is dangerous crap. That' s why it really isn't used much. Poison needs to be changed to make it more dangerous to the user. For example, if u stumble or fall off a mount there should be a chance u poison yourself. If you are in battle, there should be chance of nicking somebody on your own side and poisoning them. Poisons shouldn't have that much of an immediate effect either. Maybe some nausea and a stuffy nose at first, but several hours before anything really drastic happens. Anyway, poison is another one of those things that has gotten out of hand, probably because a few V+ use it so don't expect change anytime soon.

This is one of those issues where real life and game mechanics don't jibe well at all. Why didn't people poison claymores in real life? Because if you get hit with a claymore, poison isn't exactly needed. :) Mume doesn't reflect this, and thus needs a coding change to bring the game in line, and the one that most sane people agree on is to make poison piercing-only (arrows and such included). It's crazy to let the hardest hitting class in the game wield the hardest hitting weapons and then let them get -bonus- damage/effects from poison as well.

I'll politely remind the pukes who use call lightning traps and bash traps to play fairly next time. I'll also ask the guys who trapped me 3 on 1 the other day, or the 15 (yes 15) pukes who tried to trap 2 orcs in stonedoor the other day to play fairly also. Or maybe have a nice even 2 on 2 fighting against Fingeror/Snick, but to make it fair ask them to go to seperate rooms and not use staff etc. Quit being retarded seems a more reasonable thing to ask. Our group fights ALOT of battles against same number groups and more, but nobody ever talks about those that we win. Usually we 4 (Uldrak took a break from his archpuking today *cackle*) win, cause pukes panic. Plain and simple.

Heh, when not using poisons 'common sense', how do you know if they suck or not? About antidote..., yep, this is old truth what relim said- make one before long travel, but quaff when some1 really is around (narrates/tracks/killed mobs).
