This is a small room artfully decorated and furnished to make it appear bigger.
Tapestries, ancient beyond reckoning, line the walls. Many heroic figures
stare out at you as if watching you and judging your worth. From the east
comes a small steady glow, too steady to be a fire. The glow seems to be
radiating goodness which blesses all that is good and instils horror in the
evil hearts.
An elf sits here delving into some old tomes of elven lore.

Once your eyes adjust, you see you are in a small room. Tapestries adorn all
four walls again, as in the outer room. Vistas of vast lands long forgotten
almost seem to draw you in.
You tear your eyes away with difficulty and
realize that you are in a shrine to another age, to an era filled with wondrous
things that Arda will never witness again. The glow, which drew you hither,
comes from a small phial embedded in the stone in the centre of the room. It
casts no shadow, and the light enhances the effect of the tapestries. Removing
this light would have horrible consequences, you feel sure.
A large bookshelf sits against the wall.
Aldereon the ancient Noldo stands here, gazing at a forgotten past (glowing).
