First, Floi is or was just too overpowered. It's ridiculous to have char that could even conceivably survive vs. three decent darkies in that situation. I know Floi had tons of eq, but something isn't right with the game if eq is going to make THAT much difference. Is there something MORE making the difference? You know what I mean (and it's obviously not brain power). Second, same thought with respect to the fight in Necromancer. Ain't nobody should be able to last that long in there. Third, I hope Gretna's comment (above) that s/he won't fight with 1/3 second delay is a joke. I'm assuming s/he means a 1 to 3 second delay, but even that's pretty good for some of us if it is consistent. Anybody that's sitting around whining because of 1 to 3 second delay is a SPOILED ROTTEN wussy.

Rotho, floi here COMPLETELY cut the first part of the log, i was at hurt sitting at oakendoor there regen, we gonna do necro, he stabs me awful, gretna and zambar cure me up to wounded, he enters, hits, i bleed to bad, he then hits couple more to awful, they cure me up to wounded agian. Then gretna gets heavy lag and goes linkless ZAMBAR ALSO had key is why it was locked. What are we supposed to do with me at bad 1 linkdead and you hitfleeing us, not make the tactical choice that will make sure I don't die and you don't kill gretna linkdead? Dream on.

The person with key linkless. The lock just clicks 2 extra times to make sure its

i'm not excuseing what gretna did, just trying to make more than just caolin realize that floi put himself in this position. Why flame gretna who noramlly plays fair when link permits. It was just an unlucky flee, you got greedy, you definatly have a nice link, you risked it chargeing 3 ppl without keys near a known trap spot and you lost. You control your destiny, gretna doesn't play your char you do. I doubt someone would unlock bree if i ever flee in, and i would never post a log of it. Rangers ripped me linkless when mume crashed, was my fault cause I went bree even though my link was bad. You had link advantage and you were careless.(horny for kills just like uncle grunge.)

Dear Gretna: Lots of people have regular 1-3 second lag that we play through. 3 second is pretty bad, but a 1 second lag is about as good as it gets. That's a fact. Most of you folks who think you're pretty good are just taking advantage of slowpokes like me and Mr. Turtle. *sniff*

Nod i play with a 1/3 sec link every day and if you play with me much you will see that 1 second plus any thing but uncommon! In my opinion any thing like new flee, groups, poison ect. that everyone must deal with or do themselves i try not to bitch about. But eating spells while spamming wwwww from some 10ms char really sucks. Maybe someday i will be so lucky to have a good link :(

Gretna has basically the same playstyle as Hark (except for the linkless
bullshit) - if she cant get a stab in, spell in or whatever on whatever
character or she takes even the smallest amount of damage - she runs. One
of the most boring people to fight on MUME. This didn't surprise me at all.
Point: Gretna always takes the easy way out - disgrace to Sauron.
