It's too bad I didn't log myself, but now if you look this log, then you were fleeing between rooms (prespammed, but how was I to know it?), and only in last two quickbolts could I have guessed that something was wrong with your link.

So, apparently I do not have enough class to detect obvious link problems between two quickbolts, and so go ahead and return your favours.

Yes, i wasnt lagged when i was casting. The log shows when I freeze up, and during that time i was frozen, is when you would bolt me, wimpy flee kicks in,
you follow 1 room, bolt me, repeat..repeat..do you think i got that eq by being so fucking lame as to stand there and eat bolt after bolt in 4 exit rooms?? on this account a more experienced player than you would recognize this and possibly leave my eq.

Ainagul, check the log, was 2 one-room flees not 3. He enters my room, eats bolt, flees out. I follow and see him in the room - is it ok to bolt at this stage? OK, I suppose you're with me here - I bolt, he flees again. I hit dir key and bolt *man* bind, and surprise surprise, he is in the room, eats bolt and dies. I am sure Ainagul and Balthazar would have cancelled the quickbolt there, but I have yet to get to that level. Now - if I had tracked him and found him standing somewhere, then I probably would have guessed something is wrong if I get to bolt him and he flees single room and stands there waiting to be bolted again. But what you do not see in this log is that 5 seconds before he died, Balthazar was actually trying to attack me, not vice versa.

I do feel sorry for you there, as I have died many many a time myself under very similiar conditions, but if you say that this kind of a situation would have been crystal clear for a good and experienced player, then obviously I won't qualify.

im not saying you could recognize it and not kill me, just to take everything, is surprising. i myself have killed ppl, and after the battle, realized they were linkfucked, so i left their gear. so, who else do you play, lews?

Glum, I haven't seen anything here to lead me to change my initial opinion that Balthazar is being an ass about this. And as far as the 'doesn't move after flee = linkless/linkfroze', that's blatantly untrue in any fight where a fast linked player is pking a slow linked one. I'm on a U.S. link (from home over modem, no less), and I -rarely- can escape a superlinker caster/hitter without eating several spells/hits. According to your 'logic', every player who's ever killed me should have left the gear assuming I'm linkless. /par/ "Who else do you play, lews?" Please. Im not sure why you are so rabid about it, but i dont care either, so fuck off already? lews gets a thrill out of nuking people who arent even putting up a fight, well, whatever floats your boat. i prefer a more lively fight, but in his case i will make an exception in the future, which is why i want to know who his other chars are.

You think it's reasonable for every single person who ever dies in pk because they lagged out for the time it takes to cast two quick bolts to demand a list of the 'offenders' characters? Well, as I see it, if a bn is that low on hps, and on a slow link, he is most likely going to hit flee, a few dirs and flee again several times to try and get away. Slow link or not. I myself play from the us, and know what its like to have euro linkers on my ass, yet somehow more often than not I manage to get away with the above mentioned methods. You've heard the last from me, and you still havent proved to me lews didnt see something funny there and just won't admit it. Have a nice day!

You have been trying hard to leave the impression that what happened was you sitting in Eregion at hurt hps lagging your ass off, and then in charges Lews the linkless killer and promptly nukes you in 3 bolts and proceeds to loot all your eq out of sheer greed. In that light, I'd say that the beginning of the fight IS relevant, as is the fact what happened to your eq. Plus the only reason why I looted all was that the gaunt man was still on my ass, which made it a bit difficult to sort out good bits there :).

I have not tried at all to give that impression. I posted the important part. Yes, I was trying to fight you at gaunt man at the first. I wasn't lagging there, (or for hours before or after)--there was no point in posting that.
