Looking at the log looks like he was without link whole time..eats sprays and bash..without fleeing..orc has tons of options other than sitting still and eating bash....but that granted wouldnt be too obvious ...however...the Linkless flag was very obvious..and dont be lame and say you didnt see it..like Relim commented in a Elvenrunes post...If you are going to kill linkless, whatever no one can stop you..but dont lie about it later to make yourself feel better....anyways 1 more thing... dont say "I was fighting Doomer" I is singular..and there were 8+ pukes in noc?

I can't speak for other clients, but it's trivial in ZMud to set a trigger to color highlight any line with '(linkless)' in it. That would pretty much remove any possibility of not noticing the flag.

Besides Zmud this is possible with jmc, i have highlighted 'linkless', 'has lost' and 'has reconnected'... Killing linkless oponent means game has lost his point (fighting with players who offers some fun and action).

Sorry but I have to agree with Rogon, it's kind of obvious that Doomer is a good enough player to not stay around and eat bash with tons of pukes in room, and looks like Dan spammed ahead and hit him so he wimpyfled back into the room you were in 1 e (thus the 'Doomer has arrived...'). Barely understandable that you guys didn't see that he was linkless in the spam in the beginning when he was hps healthy ---> bad, but hmmm what's the excuse for when you guys spammed in his room 5 times 'without noticing' the linklessflag ... ? He wimpyfled 1 room 5 times and you guys folled 5 times and hit, without noticing the flag :) And hmm last question, how can you say he deliberately dropped link to avoid PK? is it possible to make it so linkless peoples is untouchable? only problem would be finding a way to ensure ldropping in battle would be a punishable offense. I spose it'd have to be a three strikes out kinda thing with consideration from point of view of position in world. ie european links have fewer chances than other places. so someone can't say ldrop 5 times during battle out of 5 fights if euro link as opposed to 7 times in 7 fights for say russia. it'd save a hell of a lot of bad feeling in arda

I've always said that there should be an option to colour the linkless flag, ingame. It's not hard to make it in your client, I have it in my Zmud, but given the option to just do a change colour linkless Yellow on Blue, or similar would prevent any illiterate newbie client user.

I can't really think of many things that would be much dumber than that. Besides, if you don't punish people for 5 times, i'd know i could drop link 4 times and survive every time, and i could make a trigger for #zap at hp:awful, and use it 4 times...
