So Darvi wasn't actually alone. Why wouldn't he
go to his group if he had one? It's like the storeporter argument. Some people
just don't enjoy risking and dying so much. Frankly, Shake looked somewhat dead
even if Darvi didn't have backup. Yeah, would have been cooler if he got
him alone, but whatever...

Sorry about the late comment. I should start out by saying that I am not a dedicated pfighter (I don't really enjoy killing others and taking their eq, it just makes people unhappy, and I don't play to make people unhappy). I wanted to go exploring in Moria but the silly eagle didn't come to my call. So I crossed the redhorn on foot, using my pbs there for moves as I passed a *man*. Shake found me tracking before the gates of Moria before I joined my group that had eagled. Well, fairly early in the fight I examined shake finding him hugely wellequipped compared to myself, a fact quickly proved by Shake chopping me to pieces with his great black scimitar until I managed to get him bashed in lorien where I'd fled.. Not exactly an offensive tactic I should mention. I wasn't trying to kill Shake but just trying to shake him off *blinks innocently*. The socalled trap is me fleeing from an artifact-equipped shaman to my groupmates. I feel it's rather inappropriate to hear people whining that I tried to save my own life. I was, by the way, bad and fainting as I reached my group, and rather happy that I'd reached it succesfully. I am sorry if Shake is saddened by the encounter, but I would like to point out that an aggressive pk'er can't expect me to lie down and die.

dont worry, Darvi. What these assholes cant admit (especially orcs) is that
there isnt a player on this game who hasnt narrated for help when they got
their ass kicked one on one, if they knew they could turn it around for a kill.
Whats even sadder is noone seems to realize there is no honor in this game
anymore and hasnt been for a long time. Wake up and kill or be killed. Its that simple.

Shake should have saved mana for cures and bobs only, instead of trying to bolt him. He was rocking him hard with just slashing. Of course, I don't play shaman, so I'm probably way off ;P

*shrug* so Darvi got help. Doesnt matter, war is war. I dont see groups of orcs leave me alone when I am solo, so why should Darvi let an orc possibly escape? (Darvi was fainting and wouldnt know the moves of Shake)

alright i realize my exp in pk on mume is nothing compared to those of you who typically comment. all i can say is that pk on mume is a game of strategy. if it were chess you might use your bishop and a knight to protect your king against another's queen. Darvi had a couple players on the board that Shake didn't count on. Shake gambled that no one else was there to help Darvi and lost. it is that simple. Darvi is quite possibly the best leader i have followed so far on mume. i trust him. he has risked his life to save me more than once. oh yes, those of you who feel differently, don't bother asking me for sanction, heal or transfer. it just won't happen.

You could take him solo, arrows were doing all dmg, u had to go wimpy and wait till shake goes low wounded, go agg and bash him, and the arrows woulda finish him.

Well, Darvi's story is quite compelling. I apologize.

Darvi appeared ultrawimp here. but thats just my take. if he had actually
stood and fought it would have been interesting, but the majority of
the log is Darvi fleeing. Shake ripped because he got a bit greedy and didnt
count on Darvi having groupies, and boy howdy if that hasnt killed me dozens
of times over...
