Why have a stored port for walking down ABR anyway? I hope you are lowlevel, or at least just didn't know the area. Or maybe you were scouting a potential trap?

no point if i'm newbie or not, or if i know abr or not. Point is in the speed of this fucking storeport. Usually it takes sec or so to cast, so i SHOULD manage to port out before Mammoth hit me to incap... It smells buggy

As a storeporter extradinaire TM. I found this log disturbing. I know ABR as well as most in the game as I levelled Lochdale there from hero to legend. Even that knowledge may not matter though when you are in a bad way with the uber-links on you (must be a real challenge). Spam a few flees and then insta hit port keybinding. That said, port locally, you are not getting to Bree from ABR and may well end up in a dt. Lore makes an interesting point.

I wasn't saying he should have used a local key. What I meant was, when you cast your spell in an evil zone. and you are good alignment, it will be slower than if you are good and cast the same spell in a good aligned zone .. such as OERMG. I was also poking fun at our brave STOREPORTER(tm) implying that he would also use a stored teleport 2 rooms from Bree rather than just run. *wink*

Lore I did get your point and I thought it was a good one. On a re-read of the log you typed north and then you cast. The n went through first and then the port command went through thus there was an additional delay. Rogon sniffs glue.

nod, i forgot i have spellcasting normal set to port, but as some1 told, no matter on spellcasting when storeport...
I know i couldnt get to Bree from ABR, but in this case is misport better than rip like bitch...
