Well, first he got "o C HP:Bad>The metaldoor seems to be closed." then typed "oe" and then "You don't see any metaldoor here." so I dont think he had anything like an autoopen thingie there. And just as Bornack said, setting a doorname and then use oe=open $doorname is just like pressing a hotkey instead of "kill *dwarf*" or something.

Not variable+action/bind itself is illegal, but action that auto set it is :P Is same as having variable for target is oki, but having action which set you this variable automaticaly when you see *enemy* is illegal. But as was wrote before, when used this triger on non-hidden exits = it should be oki, cause you get no advantage in pk from that.
