Don't blame, it's not a pk...
Mao2001-12-27 13:09:02
Erm, what exactly are we supposed to learn from this log?
LOKA2001-12-27 13:15:32
hallo MY name is loka i live on second floor
Rogon2001-12-27 13:22:16
The lesson learnt here is that you can spambash a linkless troll over and over until he reconnects. When he reconnects, he will start dodging the bashes, and probably run away so you don't get a kill. Not many people will realise that people are linkless when they let you bash them 6 times in a row. But with my deep insight i realised this. (the *a troll* reconnects helped a little too)
loka2001-12-27 13:26:46
hhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmpppppppppppffffffff
Ertai2001-12-27 14:32:07
I am too met Troll :P
(explain more and mabe we'll U.stand:P)
Vidomina2001-12-27 15:02:10
It is seen in a log that i dodged 2nd bash, well log is little pointless, yes but shows something about troll powers...
Ilmarin2001-12-27 15:49:06
Looked like a lowbie troll if you ask me. If you read it Rogon, you can see that they have a bashing contest, and the troll is loosing. Only time he manage to get bash of before Vidomina the puke dodges it. *shrug* As a sidenote, Macke did a hit worth 60 points of hps on me (healthy) in Tharbad yesterday. And I'm still like 150+ defence in there. (No parrysplitter either, just one on one.)
Ostu2001-12-27 15:56:50
Trolls are like they are supposed to be now! If you think they are overpowered, don't fight them, they can't chase you anyway.
Porien2001-12-27 16:03:31
Rogon, troll tried to bash too and vidomina dodged his bash. I think troll overspammed some bash, st commands and desided to clear em with dropping link/reconnecting.
gretna2001-12-27 16:11:38
who says they are overpowered? they are great in certain instances like in a small closed/blocked area with no sunny exits almost anywhere else they are underpowered id say with next to no ability to hunt/track/move ect. i think they are jst right as they r.
Vidomina2001-12-27 16:42:01
Me and Nator had a kewl fight against 4 darkies in Bloodwight, but it is always like when u do sth nice then u don't log it. I was soo busy with dying then so i had no chance to think of logging or looting. Btw Uthar i was bad and fainting when i buffed 2 spirites when u were only living darkie left there and Nator was awful thanks to venom. U could have killed us easily. We both lived tho...
Pecka2001-12-27 17:06:53
Looked like a lowbie troll haha, was me level30+ troll, met woman,
was very lagged, still i spam some bashes, have nothing to loose,
loose link some, reconect, and walk home safely, pathetic log...
Pecka2001-12-27 17:11:23
And yes you can really be proud to outbash a troll 4 times, when he
is linkless half the fight and gets 1 command in per second the other half
of the log hehe :)
Fragir2001-12-27 17:49:46
Well this is about luck, once i completly kicked some olog (forgot the name) near ford, 4x bashed him in row and in each bash he ate harm + some smites around he was bad me was hurt.
But another time it can be completly diferent and troll can win the bash competition. So this log shows completly nothing and what more, we don't know the name/level of this troll.
Completly pointless, and sure TROLLS ARE OVERPOWERED if higlevel and played well as any other class/race on mume (except bns ;-) maybe), NOONE can beat L 60 troll 1x1 without help and when he cannot cure/regen in safe place.
isdisdf2001-12-27 19:16:12
THE LOG SSSSSSUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUKSSS ANY WAY
Rogon2001-12-27 22:04:59
A barehand legend troll at ford without leather has like 130ob. Dodging their bashes is alot easier than dodging orc bashes. Only clueless people like fragir thinks trolls are overpowered. They're the easiest race on mume to kill, once they leave warrens.
Lochdael2001-12-28 02:18:30
EEK! Agreeing with Ostu again. Trolls are so easy to avoid its almost sad. They are huge, brutish killing machines who are good in close quater fights but useless in open Arda. The way it should be.
Venal2001-12-28 04:19:27
Hrm.. I agree with Ostu as well. *cringe* I don't feel very dangerous at all most of the time. :) In those few lucky exchanges where I get a decent fight and have enough moves to track someone down it's great.. far and few between. I usually spend my time spam fleeing from some superlinked group who hits me after I flee before I know where I am. The upside is.. enough hps 'usually' to survive the mad dash in. However, I find that more interesting than marching to Fornost and spamming clo exit. *shrug*
Vidomina2001-12-28 12:57:00
How many troll-warlords u see novadays? Trolls are hard to play and die all the time, my point is that they should get atleast some 10 more ob.
Unknown2001-12-28 16:11:23
Mao2001-12-28 16:20:06
Trolls are hard to play?? Hello? The reason why trolls die all the time is that, mostly, they don't give a shit. When I die, it takes me about half an hour rl to be back where I was before dying (i.e. fgc + leather set minus gloves and sleeves) - and that's all I need to kick the crap out of most solo heroes and legends out there.
Rogon2001-12-28 21:20:44
Mao, trolls are hard to play if you want to actively pk with them. If you're satisfied with sitting in warrens waiting for a puke to pop in, or portaltrap, then they're the easiest race on arda to pk with.
Mao2001-12-29 17:28:21
Thanks for pointing it out for me, Rogon. With this char I haven't gained a single level in warrens, and I move solo for 98% of time, so I would have thought I am quite aware of difficulcies involved. What I was saying before was that neither me nor you, for that matter, seem to care particularly if we die with a troll as long as you have a good chance to take down one or two whities before that. Yes, I agree, solo troll outside warrens is pretty easy to kill, but so what? At least for me it doesn't make playing it exactly *hard*.
