*comf* couldnt stab the lvl one eh?
Aschit2002-01-05 20:03:36
My troll killed a level 1 near Rdell the other day too. Sucks that newbies can even make it there alive, let alone go solo. Think of how hard it was for Frodo and co. just to make it to Bree in 1 piece. Then they all nearly died even after finding a competent leader (Aragorn).
Ramangth2002-01-05 20:11:51
Lvl one prayed there aschit.
Irmhild2002-01-05 20:12:18
The problem is that level 1 newbies are able to pray Rivendell. And a lot
of the newcomers to the game do, because, hell, Rivendell is such a cool
place to be, right? :( It should not be possible for anyone to make
Rivendell their original hometown.
Wellknown2002-01-05 20:13:02
Dear Aschit, you stil can pray to rdell as lvl 1 (elf/h-elf). So...
Rogon2002-01-05 20:14:13
Aschit, the hobbits had some pretty special enemies after then that most level 1's don't have to worry about. Bree was a village where humans lived. Normal ordinary humans, farmers and craftsmen and whatnot, with farms and stuff around it. It wasn't some superdangerous area filled with orcs that slaughter anyone who goes outside those "towering" city walls.
Gilthanis2002-01-06 04:21:51
To add to that... the "towering WOODEN walls" lol... watch the movie.. makes me laugh at bree... i always thought of bree havin decent walls.. but very dirty looking city for wut mume makes it look like.
Indigo2002-01-06 04:29:05
BTW Mume takes place quite a bit earlier than LOTR, somewhere between the battle of moria and the events of the hobbit...so the road was a bit easier at that point...

Bree was a village where humans AND HOBBITS lived together. Better brush
up on your Tolkien, brute!
