bwahhahaahahh this one ruled. you could need some tips tho. and feel choosen. its not everytime i hand out tips! hehe.. but keep on calling aschit a newbie since that is what he is =). and when you are chased. stay off roads and known tracking places. like small stream crossing fordable [n n w from caravanseri dwarfs] last bridge nen in sul or what the hell its called. and if you meet any of my chars you just take your hands off the keyboard and relax. since then there is noway you can get away alive =)

Just because this char was created when most of today's V+ were only a wet spot on the sheets until their moms sat in it, doesn't mean I'm not a newbie! Khazow, just some background about me, since I don't play this char much anymore: I've been playing this char since 1993, well before 95% of the current players started this game. I've killed mobs and been places that don't even exist in these modern times, and I've survived mudding conditions that 99% of today's Mumers wouldn't tolerate!

Yeah there are a lot of ways you can throw an enemy off your trail. I'd recommend trying to level a bn to 15 or so, you're bound to learn at least some of the tricks if you survive that long!

lol, wow all points of view on this one. Well this log kinda hits home to me b/c I play a hero who still doesn't know alot of areas, and is rather new to pk. Whatever anyone has to say about you being a newbie, at least you had the balls to go out and try and rescue someone (solo even, I probably would've looked for at least one companion first), even though you knew how many darkies were out there. So you need to learn some areas, so what? Do that and you'll have no problem escaping a good amount of the darkies out there. Good post!

Getting your butt kicked from one end of arda to the other is the best way to learn pk imo,have to thank george(snarf) fer kicking me from bree to fnost and back fer weeks(when arda was a bit smaller:)
