Sure..."It was just laying there." or "Don't you remember giving it to me?" or even "It's my precious! Mine! My Precious!" all SOUND like reasonable reasons, and I'm sure it all made sense to you. But I think it's time you came to terms with your problem. Consider this an intervention. We need you to see what your actions are doing to your friends and family. Is it really worth it? What would have happened if Flim had just killed you for the weed without any warning? It doesn't matter who's right and who's wrong. How would those little hobbit children have felt, orphaned simply because you wanted some good weed to smoke? How would they even explain it to their classmates in the school-burrow if the Bounders caught you with it? What would you have them say? That you are out 'adventuring', or 'visiting the elves'? Do you really think anyone would believe that? Or would you rather they tell the truth, the truth you can't seem to admit to yourself: that a few hours of pleasure at the end of a pipe was more important to you than their future? The first step is admitting that you have a problem. We're here with you, but the first move is totally up to you.
