I was tracking you from oermg but lantern ran out and you went through dark rooms. Val created light for me and having given up on you we started spamming to rdell to sell previously collected loot and for Val to prac. I saw you on oer and hit *orc*. There was no linkless flag when I entered your room and if mume noticed you'd dropped link mid fight then I'm sorry but it was lost in the spam. I have no regrets, if I'd have found you linkless I would've waited till you reconnected before annihilating you but I didn't realise you were till I read this log. You'd have mobripped anyway:

Ok, so what we have here is a linkless killer that strictly speaking is not against the rules although it sucks and is to be avoided at all costs, so Valarie made a shitty judgement and the wrong thing.

would be nice to see a log from the other side. likely in the melee flag never popped up - especially if he didn't have lindrop set (he didn't). if he was linkless >3 minutes likelyhood is that he barely had the flag b4 dying... otherwise it woulda been hit/flee crap and they would have seen on entering room. Val and I may be newbies as far as PK goes but we're not blind. Morphine's linkless flag must've only come on just before he ripped, or we would've noticed it. If he'd set his linkdrop sensibly based on the stability of his connection we wouldn't have this issue right now (and he'd have died to the rangers *chuckle*).

Ok, as a summary, things to remember:
1) If u are having crappy connection when logged as puke, go to xp to gh/bm or just chill at sppi
2) If u are having crappy connection when logged as darkie, rent, log on puke and go to xp to gh/bm or just chill at sppi
3) If u are a caster and fighting an enemy, instead of cast u better spam look to make sure the other guy doesn't get the linkless flag during the fight. If u cast instead, u r a newbie and u have no honor
4) If u don't see when someone loses connection in the middle of a fight, u should be sauron-listed or banned permanently
5) If u die linkless, quickly log on in ainu and sob, it makes u look cool, rules separation don't matter
6) If using Ainu is not enough to whine, Mume.net is perfect
7) It's really fun faking logs, it shows your knowledge of notepad
