Well, a) when you die eq is not yours anymore unless friends crab it back or you kill your slayer b) unless your killer can use eq (corrupt focus or make staves to picks) why shouldn't they eat/hide eq which is useless crap for them?? Again you're using RPG in the wrong sense, a Role Playing Game is a TYPE of game. Killing trolls is not a Role Playing Game, it is RP, since it is already included as a function of the RPG.

U die, u loose your eq - sunripping a troll is not anywhere close in comparison to a troll eating your staves. does it matter if your staff ends up destroyed by an evil mob for a lousy 5k xp, or u prefer it disgarded a takhr ? or eaten by troll. - guess what u died - u lost your eq regardless of what happens to it. Accidently sunripping a troll happens. whe u aim to sunrip a high level troll that's when we all get pissed and if we are not pissed at Gray, most of us i think would be pissed on behalf of trolls because we all know how upseting it would be to return to level 1.

Well, mandatory mandos sleep (which i hate) would solve the staff issue. Lets say mandos sleep of how many ticks your corpse will decay. So if You die with staff and its left in the corpse, it decays, and you lose it. If a friend manages to loot faster than enemy, you get it back once the mandos sleep is over. And if enemy wants You to get it back, he'll loot and drop it or something.
