OK,so here is the story. Dak,Doren,and I were at hatch. We scope it out and see 3 trolls
standing in the cellar. We make a plan and go in to meet a bunch of trollies. Dak and I
manage to get out but Doren died =( This is and example of how planned traps can go wrong.
Also, how you can turn into a puss when the enemy outnumbers you.

are signs that work was interrupted unexpectedly.

Rough Passageway
Savagely hewn from the black rock deep beneath the Trollshaws, the tunnel
speaks of the power of digging trolls. Another passage of some kind - of
much finer make - opens up to the west, while to the south the passageway
rises a bit as it disappears into the darkness.

A Steep Tunnel
The downward slope of the tunnel has increased!
You lose your footing here
and there but manage to maintain your balance.
You begin to wonder if the
slope of the tunnel will continue to get steeper, and if it is wise to continue onward into the darkness.

Three tunnels come together here in a twisting intersection. The one leading
downward proceeds at a gentle slope and is lined with grey rock. The second
tunnel enters this area from the north, and seems to be cut through heavily
packed earth. The final tunnel, a wide passageway indeed, slopes in from
the ceiling.

You enter into a tunnel leading both east and west. It seems equally
dark and silent in each direction, except for the omnipresent sound of
dripping water. A cold chill runs through you as you realize that you
could remain lost down here for many, many days.

A dark and narrow tunnel winds through the stone here. It twists out of
sight to the east behind a wall of dark rock. To the north it broadens and
seems to descend a bit.

decomposition. Splintered bones that have been gnawed and drained of marrow
crunch under each footstep, while oozing maggots digest whatever morsels
of meat that have remained undevoured. To the north, some sort of inter-
section can be made out in the gloom.

passage is not as cluttered, and it seems to be slowly ascending.

The passage bends from east to north here, rising sharply as it does so.
This tunnel is an example of the crude techniques used by trolls when
constructing living areas away from the sun - the walls are jagged, and
in many places it looks as if the rock was shattered by brute force and
carted away.

The passage becomes almost vertical here - leading slightly north as it
goes up. Apparently this tunnel was built to take advantage of a natural
fissure in the rock, for the walls have a smooth look not common below.
The surface must be nearing - the tunnel above looks as if it is lined with
hard earth.
Exits: South Up.

These tunnels must be near the surface, for the walls are of packed earth
and a few intrepid tree roots dangle from the ceiling. The floor of the
passage is bedrock, and the tunnel dives down to the south through a fissure
in the rocks. To the east, this tunnel continues.

corner something uses this place to sleep. Small biting flies swarm from
pieces of rotting meat whenever the garbage is disturbed. There doesn't

Clumsy Intersection
You come to a crossroads of sorts: three exits leading off to the west,
south, and north. It looks as if this intersection was created by accident,
pure coincidence that the trolls decided to delve in those directions.
Perhaps there was some reasoning behind their choices, especially if their
survival was at stake.
