villagers draw water from the well. The rest of the surface of the street
consists of packed dirt, littered with small cobblestones. Deep ruts, running
from the east to the west, scar the ground on the northern side close to a
shabby building.

A giant and ancient yew stands here quite eerily.

so this is where yew longbows come from.
