I am level 26, he was 61(?)
I had thick gloves, unchanted fang, orkish shortbow, no flasks, sack with 3 meats(!!) and soft cloth cap.

Hehe, It bothered me aswell, but I'd gotten used to it...
The arrows I used to rid the eart of this beeing got dropped as it had 30ish new, shiny, silver arrows :)
