Well those tentacles are fucking stupid, I mobdied my mage there too since I passed the water rooms - once you're in room with them there is no way you can get out, so perhaps some V+ could look into this thing? at least give you some chance to escape?

Rogon told me that players have died before to it, the change was made some month ago and the gods knew its bugged but seems they dont give a shit.
Well i want a good explanation of bugged code(untested muddle) and if possible reimb, because 3 years i have been west moria scouted kraken, helped people loot corpses there etc and now this happens???

Well, they aren't that hard to kill. I got trapped in a room with 3, Butrus (inside w gate)
told me to flee, I tried but couldn't. so I started killing. I killed one, got to hurt myself

Well, I just duplicated the flee-prevention algorithm in a setting that had nothing to do with kraken or tentacles. What I saw is pretty much the same thing as Diam saw - that if you spam flee, it can take you as many as 20 attempts to get out of the room (although of course you may be lucky and get out much earlier).

As to Rogon's remark, the bug that has existed in the tentacles mudlle had nothing to do with how difficult it was to flee from them. It was the problem that prevented them from detecting players approach, and it is now fixed anyway. Stop confusing people. *growl*

With that i only wanted to say that talk about 12 sanced dwarves is full-scale bullshit. To kill this guy i estimate some 6 or so TOUGH dwarves who know what rescue means and there ya have it.

Maybe you should have went aggressive when you were up and kill the tentacle which
was entangling you and then try to flee. Or can more tentacles entangle you at
the same time? I am not sure...

And also black candle could help maybe (again not sure if you can use things
when entangled).

Well Tyrnyhvel it isn't that easy. Sure, it is the same Kraken, however, since you cannot cast on him and he is underwater. If you have ever tried to check necklace you know how quickly you lose move underwater. You try killing kraken
with only hitters once, then do it when you are losing moves and drowning after
a few rounds of fighting.
If that was full-scale bullshit why has nobody ever done it?
Watcher is quite definitely harder than balrog and look as how many people that
takes to do. I would love to see 6 people try and kill watcher so I could go
loot them all when they mobdie. :P

I had no weight maluse, its impossible to cast underwater and to cast whilst tentacles entangle you. I have always fled away from him, this wasnt the first time i scouted there, i knew what i was doing. I also spammed down, up, north if u check the log more closely, but tentacles grabbed me before going north. They changed tentacles some month ago, thats why this time i never fled,
its a new "feature", with some 0.1% of getting away. But i want a fucken good explanation why after 3 years they change something what has been that way, even if its a reason, they dont give a notice that kraken is changed.
I wont scout that motherfucker if id known they changed the shit.
