As best as I can tell,
according to the rules file on MUME,
triggers that *send info* to MUME are illegal.
Triggers that set variables in a client are not.

This may change, but this is the only way I think
the rules file can be interpreted at thsi time.

Baphomet is right and wrong. Yes sometimes you can get away with things merely since the rules files doesn't specifically spell every little thing out. This is not the case here, any moron understands the basic reasoning behind not having triggers in pk. There needs to be the chance to mess up and go the wrong directions otherwise its the same friggin thing as actiontrack. He may hate *.ee, I am sure there are alot that hate them. But there are reasons behind it. Don't get me wrong, there are alot of nice and decent *.ee players, can't think of any names now but I'll get back to you :))) but anyway when you do things like $dir, autoopenning doors, etc in pk even if the rules don't specifically spell it out for you. Then you diserve the criticism that comes from your actions. And yes, it is sad but a select few can ruin the respect of the majority.

Setting Variables is one thing Baph. BUT... What you have hear is a case of more than just that. It was programmed like this I would guess.....
He fed the direction from the "You see some tracks leading..." into a variable called Dir. Then he made a button using #unke #ke that he could spamm and that would only trigger when the mud sent the correct line. So in essence he was using a human controlled action. IMHO alot of our former action users have switched to these better written more controlled actions. Really the only way you could be caught doing this is if u were um for example stupid enough to post a log of yourself doing it....

Some ppl still have a lot of growing up to do. Like every imature and insecure
person they need a group to indentify them selves with and belong to. Picking
on others is a part of belonging to such a group. By creating groups of US and
THEM the group belonging is made visual and group bounds made tighter. That's
why we hear about .ee .se, .cz and NSL as them or somtimes us. If you don't
belong to a formal group you can allways pick on a formal group, and in that
way make yourself part of an informal group picking on other groups.
