I often wonder how much damage my harm would do on my boss!
Relim2001-08-08 10:43:49
In my job, I have dozens of people working for me. I once started a meeting to them all by saying 'snicker'. Real smooth.
Vecna2001-08-08 10:45:11
I've actually caught myself wanting to say nod out loud many times...
Vecna2001-08-08 10:45:41
I feel your pain Relim, hehehe
Serbitar2001-08-08 11:17:12
I'm going to have to quit when I start cackling!
Arhar2001-08-08 11:21:22
some times. in emails always.
Edvard2001-08-08 11:46:17

Treastin2001-08-08 11:47:54
I have said nod, snicker, peer and every time it takes forever to do something I say "ack, the lag" I need a new vocabulary....
Enforcer2001-08-08 11:53:03
sometimes i say rofl...
Voile2001-08-08 12:53:07
Been there, done that, didnt get yelled at (only laughed at), prolly doing it again tomorrow.
Devastator2001-08-08 13:21:55
I train Karate rl and once in class at highschool I said Osu instead of Oui, and my french
teacher was looking so strange I quick said Oui =P but never had this stuff with MUME =P
Porien2001-08-08 15:49:22

Axel2001-08-08 16:29:16
I tend to think 'even' when I wanna correct myself and barely manage to keep my mouth shut :)
Aschit2001-08-08 16:33:49
Been there, done that. Especially in e-mail, but I've used the following in different situations: laugh, dance, say, yell, grin (and probably more) I used the 'say' one in an actual conversation, then I had to do it once more later to make it sound like I meant to say it :) ("say, did you see blah blah blah?")
Lochdale2001-08-08 17:18:05
Email is the killer...constantly putting sa for say..its a problem, we are all doomed.
faint2001-08-08 17:20:30
"t mamma come with a class of water please," <-- just woke up and wanted a class of water

"narr i need a pen" <-- in a test in school....i think it was
A Mume log Addi2001-08-08 17:22:29
Got pulled over by the cops for speeding. They weren't too impressed when I said "DIE! FUCKING PUKESCUM BITCH! DIE! DIE! DIE!"
Ethar2001-08-08 18:11:36
when i use aim, i write nod alot, and my friends are like, what the hell. and yea i think ive said nod before :P people look at you fucking strange..
*a fry cook*2001-08-08 20:04:08
*snicker* Relim. We laughed our asses off, but we never had any respect for you anyway. If your parents didn't own the joint you'd have never made 2d assistant manager of this joint.
Earth to Ethar2001-08-08 20:05:42
That's not why we look at you fucking strange.
Ethar2001-08-08 20:30:36
*sniff*
Korf2001-08-08 21:37:05
you guys talk like you are playing mume? that's fucking pathetic :P
Jahara2001-08-08 22:05:31
sc What are you guys talking about? stat
Everhate2001-08-09 00:50:32
How bout having the urge to type sc or info or eq constantly when on icq or similiar programs out of Mume habit?
adroit2001-08-09 01:39:39
yes i've done all that, and yes I think it is pathetic. It can be alot of fun though when doing some horrible job to randomly ask mume questions to coworkers. in the middle of repaving a road just ask hey, wanna help me with willow and see the funny looks of confusion
Axel2001-08-09 02:37:55
hehe, yea - i type l(ook) everywhere :/
Edvard2001-08-09 03:20:14
lol nod, try be on mIRC without typing some sc or so by mistake=p
Kreil2001-08-09 04:36:43
Laugh!! Nod Relim..

Yes, if I had a nickel for everytime I type score/stat when i'm at a prompt...ROFL.

Nice to know I'm not the 'only' one out there!!

Chauncey2001-08-09 08:59:11
I end up typing sc/stat/info nearly every time I use linux.
Natash2001-08-09 17:54:59
I once set matlab colours inverse, to get white on black background. Made sense, since 90% of commands i typed where sc stat inf and who (and most of them work :P)
Nugle2001-08-11 06:58:40
Yeah, but I say 'nods'
Serbitar2001-08-14 10:25:04
Typing 'where' on Mirc sure does confuse them!
Jorb2005-03-12 04:21:36
Im glad i dont have any of these problems *Agree self*
sc
stat
narrate what teh hell is this for?
sc
Andróg 2005-03-14 10:32:35
I disagree with those punks, but...

when we had "Teachers day" at school and I was giving class to pFador (and few total newbies) from MUME then they swear I said "Open level 27 from book" instead of "Open page 27 from book". I tell ya, they're lying!!!

PS. To non-estonian speaking, in estonian lehekülg = page, meaning it sounds quite similar to "level".
