A Small Yard
You are standing in a small yard. There is a small pile of rusty and broken
weapons in the north-east corner. To the south you see Shadows' street and
there is a small shop to the east.
A large sack is on the ground.
A little boy is here, running around.
Exits: (east), south, (west).
It is snowing.

Shadows' Street
You are walking on a very dark alley, the perfect place to be held to ransom
at night. Main street is east of here. The alley leads west and a small
yard is north of here.
Exits: north, east, west.
A citizen mercenary has arrived from the east.

*#* S HP:Hurt>e
Main Street
The main road is going further east and south. A small alley is leading west
of here. At the corner of main street and the alley there are some letters
written on the wall.
Exits: east, south, west.

Main Street
You are standing on a large, paved road. As you consider the street sweepings
lying almost everywhere, you ask yourself if they have streets' cleaners here
and if they do, how much do they pay them ? The road is going further west and
north. On the sides of the road you see old stone houses with heavy doors and
dark windows.
A citizen-mercenary is here, waiting for a job.
A little boy is here, running around.
Exits: north, west.
A little boy leaves north.

On the Bridge
You are walking on a large and strong stone bridge. Under it, you can see the
Greyflood running slowly. It looks dark and polluted from the filth of the
city.
Exits: north, east, south, west.

Filthy scraps line the edges and occasionally overflow into centre of this
large, paved road lined with dull stone houses. Shut tight with heavy doors,

these dingy, lifeless homes seem to peer out uninvitingly from behind their
darkened glass windows and closed shutters. In the south, the sound of the
Greyflood is barely audible as it gurgles beneath a narrow stone bridge.
Exits: north, south.

Silvorain tells you 'on level 8?!'
Stepping past the railing you lose balance and fall off the bridge. The impact
on hitting the frozen water surface nearly knocks you out.

Your head stops stinging.

WTF ?? :/
Rancr2005-03-10 09:03:52
The infamous poisoning waters of tharbad, and the allmighty slippery bridge!
Andróg 2005-03-10 15:44:51
Falling down the bridge and ripping in Tharbad is like part of the ABC of Beginner's experience in MUME! ;)
Rancr2005-03-11 09:16:05
Androg trust me, i was even more dumber, i follower guard of tharbad with full shining, when i was playing Raenor like a year ago:)
I wanted tbad citizen and tought "oh well, i sit my hours in jail and then i buy citizenship" big surprise when some weird message popped up and i found myself in mandos -_-
Andróg 2005-03-11 09:54:17
Yeah, well I recall an even better similar log... how pMeliza (??) (well, anyway, it was some lvl60+ char) dted himself at Big John with shining and a whole pile of scrolls, rocks and etc... because he didn't know the area. :P
Caejis 2005-03-11 18:05:42
Tbad's bridge is a bane to my existence... ¬.¬
As Adaric and Aeric, who were both almost always on Elbereth's, I would wander around in a half-awake state and usually fall off...
Fortunately enough, I usually had enough HP to survive, but when running around w/ a BN, that fall sucks...
